Yeah, I know that there are other 'Apolo's Birthday' threads, for other 'Apolo Birthday's'. But this is his 26th, and I like Elle's idea for a party - so let's be semi-delusional for 24 hours or so and pretend that Apolo or people close to him are reading our words... (hey, it could happen, eh?) I have to admit that my fan'dom has gone far beyond Apolo, almost to the point of forgetting the guy from time to time (I said ALMOST). However, I'll never, ever, forget the 'master' who, as Skaterswaltz so eloquently stated, introduced me to a world I never knew existed, and people - other fans, skaters, parents, etc., who I would have never met otherwise. I've been blessed to know ALL of you, and I'll always be grateful to that bandana-clad-soul-patch'ed-phenom-on-ice who I hold entirely responsible for this 'beautiful madness'. Apolo, may you have the most joyful birthday ever, and know that all of us will have OUR 'May 22nd' wishes come true if all of YOUR 'May 22nd' wishes come true...
I tip my hat to the 'Lord of the Rink'... grab that brass ring and 'go get 'em in 2010, Cowboy'! No matter what the outcome, we know you'll make us and your country proud! Woo Hoo! |

Well...... I think that this thread should not only be about wishing a Apolo a happy birthday but, it should be of us getting online and actually coming in here as if it were a party in which people are actually listening to some music and having conversations.
Like I said, i think we should come here and ACTUALLY have a few or maybe one brusky in the name of Apolo, or at least this reasons seems good enough a reason for me to have a shot of tequila here and there.
Well, I will be here tomorrow talking all the rubbish in the world and if you wanna join my wicked party, COOL BEANS!!!

Cool idea everyone, if we could do it for the World and World team races, then we could do it for this. Pick a time, that we can post as to timezone when we all need to be here, and along with the brusky, we can raise a bag of peanut M & M's in the man's honor. (eeewww, does that sound like a horrid combination or what?- chocolate and beer. Ick. On second thought a glass of merlot or cabernet and those M & M's would be soooo MUCH better! LOL) What time peeps!  |

Any time is always a good time to have a brusky. Since i live on the other side of the world, at wot time would you gals be here parting it up? so that I can come in......you know it's a 6hr difference....but no matter....I will be here with drinks and all. But do not worry, am always up at the oddest times such as right now, its 4am on my end and am up. just got back from work. I work at a Pub  So i guess i will be here a bit earlier than this like 2am whihc would be 8pm there. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait for the party I think we should also have some music on......brilliant |

Great banner Lindsey. And I didn't even know you could cook 911. I'll be at the party with "Good Times" cranked up.
If it's going to be reminiscent of the group laptop huddle we had for the championships, I think sk8on should bring the Zamboni.
