That moment WAS awesome... the people sitting around us that weren't with our group(s) could not believe what they were seeing - all were dumbfounded and they kept saying incredulous things - over and over... the entire place was electrified as we watched pure talent and adrenaline take him over... there was no doubt who the most talented skater out there was! It is an image that will remain etched into my mind forever! Lily captured the moment perfectly with her shot - and she immediately showed several of us and we were stricken with emotion... Kimo had been hanging over the railing by us waving and hollering at Apolo as he went by, and as he walked by us after it was over, we called out to him so he could see the photo! He concurred with us as to how self-explanatory it was! What a weekend! What a great time with great people!

Yeah, in the photos (that I've taken) of Apolo's starts, show him leading off first... really shows his ability to get that tremendous push-off! His split-second timing is amazing!  Wildfire... I still can't see that photo either???  |

Lily and Mtnme...I just deleted it, so that's why! I'm just going to wait until I can get the originals up...so don't worry about it. Yours are amazing..I think you got the better 'money shot' anyway so keep posting!  I will post mine really soon though. PS-Random Q but does anyone know who it was on the US Team in the relay that fell?! I looked away a second and next thing I knew someone was down.

And now... the fans!The Green/Red Ladies with Katherine Breidy's been in the candy jar!    The Koreans across the rink, drummer in center I wish I knew how to play taiko drums, I would take one the next time... LOL..! And... the work-out!

Ruff has been posting here too, especially on the SLC thread, what with all the Charles Hamlin pics. Ruff is ALL ABOUT those handsome Canooks. Especially those "Ham Sammiches" (Charles' brother Francois is the other half of the 'sandwich')
