The intensity of Apolo's desire to do his best, shows up in these relay race photos, starting with the 5th photo.
It just tore at my heart, to see Apolo's determination and dedication to do as well as he could possibly do, even when the odds were against him and his relay team.
The action was so fast and intense that I had trouble trying to focus the camera! More to come later... possibly tonight...

Oh, Lily! These are SPECTACULAR! It makes me all emotional again to see these pictures of Apolo from the relay flying like a bat-outta-he11 trying with all his might to make up the time and get his team on the podium. He was not just flying around that track, it was supersonic. THANK YOU!!! (goosebumps!!!) (Have you ever thought about being a professional sports photographer? Or at least Apolo's personal photographer? And I'll be your assistant and make sure the batteries are always charged! tee hee! )

Wow...that's the only word I can think of right now, Lily!!! You took really amazing shots! I think you secretly have a really good "money shot"! You really did capture the emotions felt not only by Apolo, but us fans as well...I think he must have some turbo button that shifts it into high gear...like skaterswaltz said, he FLEW around that ice!!! He ain't kidding when he says he gives everything 110%...that was clearly evident!

Thanks very much, gals! You don't know how hard it was to try to keep Apolo in my camera's eye piece!. I have never seen him look like that... so fiercely intense! I was shaking, my zoom lens was shaking... it took all my concentration to keep from shaking! (I know what Lori means!) On the other hand... I do have several blurry photos too... LOL !! Skaterswaltz... I hereby assign you to be my battery handler!!!

Uh-oh, Wildfire, I think you got 'scooped' by Lily on your Money Shot! We still want to see yours - it looked AMAZING on your viewfinder! I'll add that in that Catch-Up relay, it seemed like Apolo finished his lap-and-a-half with BLINDING speed! If you blinked, he had already pushed off to someone else... he was digging like a madman (as were ALL of them). Such a gutsy performance by our entire team~
GREAT pics, Lily - you done GOOD!

OK, you have photobucket, that's good. Ok, go to one of your pics and copy the IMG code for forums like this. And just paste in the message and viola! I'll write you a message if you still can't get it right. No worries, we'll figure it out together!

Yeah we were close, but I zoomed in on this one to show the intensity and sheer strong-will that showed on his face to put 110% into that race. The original is better..I will try to get more (and better!) pics up soon! I'm just glad I finally figured it out, LOL! Thanks though!
