Well that shortly after the olympics they were no longer together.. I wonder if she knew that all along or it just kind of happened... sorry folks but I have been in a suv with my hubby and kids for 6 days..driving 3200miles yikes!!!! |

Katie made a remark that she and Apolo had been together. He laughed but it was not a comfortable laugh. She skated with him and just kind of hung all over him. I don't know what Allison is up too. She had several things she wanted to do this summer so I think she is probably doing those. There was no writing on the wall. Apolo is not going to show you his feelings about any woman in public. This is just my own opinion but I'm thinking the breakup was mutual. As I said Allison had things she wanted to accomplish just as Apolo does. She is a strong woman and isn't going to fall apart just because they aren't dating any more. She won't have any problems finding a new guy. |

It comes from a Bible story. According to Biblical accounts, Belshazzar, who was the prince of Babylon and acting as ruler while his father was away waging war, was having problems holding things together. And then, at a feast for his nobles, the Prince and his guests witnessed a disembodied hand scribing the words “Mene, Mene, Tekel, Peres” on the palace wall. Frightened, he sought out anyone who could read the words upon his wall. That man was a Hebrew prophet named Daniel. According to the Bible, Belshazzar promised Daniel the riches of Babylon to interpret the message. Although Daniel refused the proffered wealth, he read the message from God for the regent: “God has numbered your kingdom and finished it; you have been judged and found wanting; your kingdom shall be divided between the Persians and the Medes.” And Babylon did fall and was divided, and that is where the saying came from. So it is like Allison could have seen warning signs that Apolo was becoming cool and pulling away, and bailed before he dumped her and thus kept her pride intact. |
