this was the best I could do Anyone ever seen the dance that some Pacific Island warriors traditionally did before battle to hype themselves up. They would jump and yell and stick out their tongues like Apolo is doing in the picture. It was supposed to scare their opponents. And there is some high school football team in the Dallas/Ft Worth area that does it before each game. I wonder if Apolo is yelling in the picture and trying to scare the other skaters away? |

I wonder if Apolo is yelling in the picture and trying to scare the other skaters away? idk if he was trying to scare them away. but maybe he was happy? that picture was taken when he knew he's gonna win gold for the 500m race in this year's olympic. he showed his tongue before when he was announced that he is not disqualified and could move to finals...or something. |
