I'm glad you said that because I've never thought Apolo looked like Yuki. Some people think he does but I don't see it. I would agree with that, guest. I was noticing yesterday that Apolo's nose is completely different from Yuki's. Sometimes kids are "throwbacks" -- they don't resemble either parent, but instead take after, say, a grand uncle. My mom comes from a blended family and her siblings run the gamut from arctic blonde to a darker, Mediterranian look. One of my cousins has (quite lovely) odd eyes -- one blue, one brown. my oldest son looks identical to my husband... but Joey my youngest does not look like any one in either family..We actually think it is kind of cool.. the only thing is..my husband has the most gorgeous green eyes...and I wanted the boys to get them..but they both have brown eyes..like mine.. so go figure

Hm, that's a new one. Stewart? Scott on espn has two different colored eyes, one is darker than the other. You should see horses and such like it, it's pretty cool. I am going to go off to laa laa land now. L8r i knew dogs could have 2 different eye colors but... horses? wow... i learned something new!

Yup, a guy used to have his horses out here, and there was a mare. A paint horse. A brown eye and a ice blue one. I about crapped when I seen one on tv w/ two ice blue eyes. Gorgeous. I never seen many dogs like that though. Two colors.

To me, Apolo DOES have "some" resemblance to Yuki but, he's got more of a Roman-type nose to him, he's taller, his eyes are large and round and hazel and not charcoal dark and slanted and he's got a darker complexion and actually tans.
Yuki is shorter, has the very pale Asian skin, has the dark eyes that are very slanted, etc. I'd say Apolo's mother is Latin of some sort, judging by the shape of his nose, the pigment of his skin and the shape of his eyes, but that's just me. I happen to be half Latin ( Mexican ) myself, and I share some of those same traits as he does.

I've always thought that they dont really look that much alike. Ive always thought that he must look much more like his mother side. maybe they did look alike when he was younger.

It's funny how well that fit.
I think someone should come up with a bandana with long hair attached to it for Halloween.
Wouldn't it be fun to see a bunch of little Apolos running around in October?
