I agree with Lindsey, I think that if a post had been made on OZ as to why the whole thing was removed it would be easier to understand. As is stands now, it is like , the whole article and the posts are gone, and that it never happened and see hear and speak nothing about it. Kind of strange. I don't think that the topic should be off limits, however if the posts get nasty then remove them, not the whole topic. In that link for Velocity news, there is just one picture and it is either 20 or 21. There is another publication that comes out today called The Voice Tribune and they had photographers there so,, I will check it out too. I swear I'm goona leave it alone after this but,,,all this talk about having a news article removed to "protect" his girl and all that. That would mean that he is just predictiing that everyone is going to gang up on her and that she has no fans or has nobody that would say nice tings about her?I think that as a fellow woman I would have found it much more admirable that he was PROUD to be with her and made no secrets about it. Like the chic with the cousin photographer said, they seemed to be a very established couple at the parties. So why not have that out and be done with it? (he doesn's have to jump on Oprah's couch or anything) I really still admire AAO and AB, she's ok by me as well, but I have a lot more in my life to keep up with ,,,as do all of you. The fact is, we all are fans of AAO and just want to know what makes a champion like him tick. I would not call us stalkers or freaks or fanatics, just interested fans of a very unique man.

Noelle's counsel to me was to "Do what's right for your site," so I don't think Apolo necessarily said "All sites everywhere have to stop talking," you know? I think we all agree that it's a topic that creates a lot of tension and is better left alone. I'm not going to restrict anything that we can talk about. But I think we all know Apolo's wishes and I'd like to respect that. Hopefully everybody agrees with me. No rules, but let's just keep those things in mind.
This specific board (using the Proboards format) has only been up since the Olympics. I had another forum back in 2002, and it was shut down in 2003. Nobody could even post anymore, because the whole thing was flooded with Korean hate posts. Everything was in other characters than English, and the English words were only things like F--- Ohno, etc... I couldn't delete it fast enough, and had to shut it down. But with the re-vamped site this year, I wanted to try it again, since I have a little more control with this format. I haven't had any hate posts towards Apolo, so I'm happy and I'll stick with it. But I am a little overcautious when I start to see flaming going on. Just bad memories... Anyways...

JenniferHart, I totally agree with you, please continue to post and please post the link to the article. That way if people want to know, they can visit the link. If you don't want to know, then don't visit the link.
Again, I think Noelle gave you that advice Lindsey because I believe his request was specific to her site. Her site is different because again, he has people that show up at his races and events with signs that say "Ozer" on it and these people identify themselves as this and go everywhere to pretty much see him. So it would be kinda funny to have these people talking about that.
But again, this website, he has nothing to do with it, and may never come here. So again, don't base your decision with what to do with a public website unless Apolo specifically tells you himself or post something like this on his official website.

Friendly Guest - my bad, no offense meant. I didn't know how to post a reply without getting all the way to the end of a thread first and got you mixed up with what appears to be a hoard of guests, some friendly some not.
Like I said, Imanidiot ...... but in the words of Monty Python, "I'm getting better!" ("Please, I don't want to go on the cart.")
Ruffian, please change your pics of the Canadians. Bedard is giving me heart palpitataions, ( and, um, other palpitations, too). Who knew the ripples and curves that lurked under some of the worlds ugliest skinsuits.

Crimson - if I'm the "chick" no, I wasn't calling you a pregnant dog. I was saying I loved your ditch slappin smilies. Very funny. As a major ditch myself whose bestest and closest friends are all ditches, it wouldn't have been an insult even if I had called you one but, even I have enough diplomacy not to do that to someone I didn't even know.
What else did you wish for me to clear up? I actually got logged in today AND figured out these PM things people have referred to (which are BRILLIANT). Now, someone help me with how to quiote out of anothers post and I won't be an idiot much longer ...... just a major ditch.

I am LMAO ROTFLO. Obviously, there is some software running that replaces certain vocabulary. I assure you I did not type "pregnant dog." But "ditch" only with a "b". I'ld ditch the pregnant dogy software as it is like a gauntlet thrown down and I am now holding on with my fingernails to avoid trying out what it mayor may not substitute for some other colorfull vocabulary. Maybe on an old, quiescent thread. This is MT again, still too lazy to sign in. I have to go get a towel to clean up some of the Margarita I spewed when I read the "pregnant dog" subs. Isn't that the funniest thing you have ever seen when you typed pregnant dog! I was in a really good conversation with some of my friends on another proboards site, and we mentioned something like "Life's a B!tch", and well, you know what showed up in it's place. I laughed like a good twenty minutes when I first discovered that! ;D
