Amy, what are you talking about with the diamond earrings?? Women give their boyfriends diamond earrings??? IAre these real diamonds??? Am I the only old-fashion one on the board  |

Oh yeah, I've known many women who have had boyfriends that have a pierced ear and they give the guy a diamond earring. I even have a guy friend in Georgia, who is like me and does not really care for diamonds and, like me, his birthstone is a Sapphire. His girlfriend got him a Sapphire. So...yeah, it happens all the time. Maybe it's just not a "Chicago" thing?  |

Hey and also...to each their own, I always say. Some people can't afford to give their boyfriend/girlfriend such expensive gifts, know what I mean? I just know it does happen, and from what I hear, is quite common. I've never done it with a guy though. But then, I'm an OLD broad and have been married for 8 years! I have MOST of the jewelry!  |

Just thought I'd drop in to say that I wouldn't mind seeing Apolo with an earring again, (or two). I don't like them on most guys, but on him it'd be nice.

Two kind of men wear earrings:
1. Hippies (picture long, silver hair in pony tail, harley davidson shirt, and a silver earring with...probably an indian motif of some sort).
2. Un-hip gay men (picture...The chef from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy).
