Hi Guys,
I'm reposting this from the old thread part 1 as it was over 100 pages and 2000 posts.
Hey tdavis, let us know how your audition goes.
Answer to question: Italy. No question. I'm of northern Italian decent, so that was a given. The food, the culture, the art, the landscape- I want to experience all of it. Especially since I've never been out of the U.S. (Sad, I know...) But Napa seems to be a poor man's equivalent, at least in landscape and wine production!
My question: I've got art on my mind now... What is your favorite famous piece of art and artist...and why?
(I've reposted this on Random questions part 2)

I don't have a favorite art piece, (to many to choose from) but I do have a favorite artist. His name is Klaus Voormann. He is most know for his work on the front cover of The Beatles "revolver" album. He is my favorite because I love his personality. Also, his paintings and drawings are amazing! Here's his main site if anyone wants to check it out. www.klaus-voormann.com then click portfolio, on the left click objectives and there should be a list of his works. What is your favorite season?

Hi Rach and Mtnme! Rach2crazy...good to see you on the boards again! I think I've heard of Klaus, I will have to check out the website. Can I join in?! I think my fave season would have to be spring...it's not too incredibly hot and everything looks fresh and new. I like being outdoors, so it's a great time to hike or whatever as well!

I find history fascinating, especially colonial America. In college I took an oceanography class. The teacher was a little wisp of a woman, 4 foot nothing and 60 if she was a day. " So who is going scuba diving with me this weekend?" would usually be her Friday question. She was an inspiration. It was a hard class, tons of information in every lecture, (we don't want you to sink below 'C' level....) you didn't dare miss a class for fear you would never catch up. But a truly incredible class. The earth sciences all build on one another, until there is a beautiful symmetry and logic as to how our little planet works. ...wordy again, I know. my question: If you could be anyone in history for a day, who would you be and why?

Humm..that's a hard question... How about George Washington, the first president of the USA! That's a honor, I think. Question: Have you ever gotten something special as a gift and what was it?

Many, many things. But what I will put here, one year 8 years ago this month, my son and daughter-in-law ( his girlfriend then ), thought I needed another dog, so as my Christmas gift, they put a deposit on my beautiful beagle Ethel, who joins Lucy. She is a definite "beagle with attitude" and quite nasty. They then bought me Rikki 5 years ago. Which answers another question above. My favorite TV show of all time "I Love Lucy".
My question is: .......anyone have a favorite poem??

Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. Robert Frost My queston is: Do you have a favorite Apolo interview? and if so which one?
