I know that some of you guys want to know what APOlo's rankings and what not so...i found this...and thought i would post this here ya go:

1996-97 - 20th overall (tied).
World Cup-2004-05 - 1st overall, 1st in 1,000m, 1st in 1,500m, 2nd in 500m.
2003-04 - 3rd overall, 2nd in 1,000m, 2nd in 1,500m. 2002-03 - 1st overall, 1st in 1,000m, 3rd in 1,500m. 2001-02 - 22nd overall. 2000-01 - 1st overall, 1st in 500m, 1st in 1,000m, 1st in 1,500m.
1999-2000 - 7th overall.
1998-99 - 8th overall.
U.S. Championships-2005-06 - 1st overall, 1st in 500m, 1st in 1,000m, 1st in 1,500m, 1st in 4-lap time trial, 1st in 9-lap time trial.

Other career highlights-2000 U.S. junior short track champion; 1999 world junior short track champion; youngest American to win a World Cup event (Chang Chun, China, Dec. 3-5, 1999); 1st at Olympic Trials in 2002; holds American records in 500m, 1,500m and 3,000m; American record holder in 4-lap time trial (37.368); member of American record 5,000m relay team (6:48.815, Oct. 20, 2001 at Calgary, Alberta).

Now.....he's not just a pretty face athlete (unlike some people...*cough*), im not gonna post names. Apolo is def the "Poster-Boy" of ST...and brought a lot to the game....it's up to the other up and comin' athletes to do the same
Im not saying that Ohno has become "old news", but i think people will recognize ST as more athletes come and you know represent US!!!

Yes CG you are very mucho correcto!!LOL
ST is pack-style racing....not times.....but timing comes into play...when it's like a tie between other skaters...and there's like those lap time differences....like when you go each lad they there's like split times. That comes into play. I dunno how but, i always see those times.

i wish i knew more info on ST!!LOL
