I'm sorry to post about Colt Brennan again. I just couldn't help myself. Here is Colt with his baby niece, who was just born on Christmas Eve. #15 is Colt's jersey number. Isn't this picture just too cute for words? Actually, the only word I can muster is "Awwwwww ..." This picture is too cute for words. It's so sweet!

i think by over 20...kobe scored 21 but everyone's shooting percentage was bad... Ours as well..don't feel bad. I just hope Trailblazers don't win tonight..then we'll behind them in the division.. We're tied right now. Nuggets don't play til thusday...OUCH! When do Lakers play next? the trailbrazers are hot! they have a 13 game winning streak ...good thing the season is still young!
wow...my lakers don't play until friday against your old team the sixers.
I miss having dish. I'm missing all the nba games. I love my Mavs, but I have favorite players on different teams. Steve Nash being one of them. Gotta run, my Blues are playing, and I need to fight the am radio.... tabby...steve nash is my favorite point guard (he's amazing) and my second favorite player in the league after kobe .
happy new years to you both!

Oh, you'll defiently win against the 76ers! My Nuggets play the San Antonio..that's gonna be hard to win if we don't use defense against them. That's what hurt us in the playoffs.. Steve Nash is awesome! eta: Happy New Years to you both!

HAPPY NEW YEARS! The outside hockey game was an amazing game to watch, on tv of course. It was snowy, cloudy, but perfect weather for it. Easy for me to say, I'm inside. And of course Sidney won it for the Pens in the shoot out. I love those Penguins jerseys.

I was at the outside Hockey game in Buffalo. I'm still thawing out. It was so cold and snowy. I can't believe we lost the game, but I love Sidney Crosby, but Lexi knows I love Maks more, he had the chance but couldn't get it past the goalie. I wouldn't have missed the experience to see this outside game for anything in the world. It wasn't just a hockey game, it truly was an event. The players on both teams saluted the fans by raising their sticks and skating around the ice after the game. I was wrong when I said on another thread that nothing good ever happens in Buffao. This event was fantastic and the first NHL game ever in the in the United States to he held outside. I'd say that was something, especially if you're a hockey fan!!!! Love my Buffalo Sabres. One of the best parts, seeing the Blackhawk helicopters flying in formation over the stadium and all the servicemen and women represented as it was telecast to our troops.

I heard from my dad I might be going to a Sixers game when they host my Nuggets! It's a birthday present from my parents. I'm defiently bringing my camera!

Hi Jenna, they started installing the rink after the last Buffalo Bills game, so it took a solid week of they say "around the clock" work. They had to install underground pipes, they put it on our local news all week. So, it was huge here. I'm used to cheering for a touchdown with 75,000 fans, but not a goal. The players and our coach said it was awesome. And the tickets sold out here in like 11 minutes after they went on sale. All of them ,so it was great. I'm sure Lexi's parents watched it as they are big Sid the Kid fans and he scored the first goal and won in the shoot out. It was an experience, that's for sure. I'm so happy for you Jenna, that you're going to see a 76'er's game. I'm not a basketball fan. But if you're happy, I'm happy.

Being a fan of a team is so much fun watching them on tv but watching them live is even better! My mom thinks I'm crazy that I'm wearing an AI Nuggets jersey to a Sixers game..

I thought Miller had a chance until Sid came out. I couldn't imagine The Blues playing in a game like that. They'd have to be on the road, because The Rams play in the dome. And even then it leaked. Sidney is so amazing to watch. Glad you enjoyed it! ;D

Cindy - I'm green with envy. I watched every second of that game. I wore my #87 t-shirt with pride. Sid the Kid amazed again. Ack!!! I can't even imagine what it was like to be there. I couldn't believe the snow falling at the beginning. I was getting concerned. Pretty risky. You couldn't even see the puck at times. But the thrill!! And then Sid at the end.... ;D Boy Wonder! The Irish tenor's rendition of God Bless America gave me the chills! I'm not even American and I'm still getting goosebumps hearing it. BEAUTIFUL. And then the fly over. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cXkOl-WZL4&feature=related

Ronan Tynan loves Buffalo and sings at a few games a year. They wouldn't let him sing the "Star Spangled Banner" because he doesn't have American citizenship, but we love him here. The Blackhawk helicopters were so close to me, I got a good picture. Our Brian Campbell does this spinning move called the "spinorama". And they asked him why didn't he do it out there. He said " on that ice in that snow, I would've killed myself if I tried it.". It was funny. So, main thing is, Buffalo got a great review, the fans got better review, the best rated hockey game on TV in 10 years which they were looking for, perfect game with perfect ending for Sid the Kid, it looked like the city was in a snow globe which was beautiful. Only bad thing, I didn't get warm until this morning.

Hey ohnoagain - sorry your team lost, but it sounds like you had a great time at the game. Brr, it must've been cold!
Lori, I guess you and I are both bummed about our teams' bowl results. Hawaii was schooled by Georgia - the Bulldogs believed they belonged in the Championship bowl game and definitely wanted to prove that against us. Completely shut down our offense. And our team was just too jittery and unsettled going in - overanxious, made too many errors, couldn't get a rhythm going.
I still think Hawaii had an unbelievable season; they just need more experience playing the "big boys" in the big arenas. Mostly I feel bad for Colt and the team - they didn't want their season to end that way. But I'm still really proud of them.
I'm sorry Florida came up short against Michigan. It's hard to believe Tim's just a sophomore. So the good news is he still has next year and maybe the year after that.

I hesitate asking this question because perhaps its something obvious to everyone else but I didn't realize you couldn't sing the Star Spangled Banner if you weren't American. Celine Dion is Canadian and I'm quite sure she's sung it. Perhaps Shania too??? I'm not complaining though. I LOVE God Bless America and never hear it nearly enough so it was a nice surprise to hear Ronan sing it.
