Yes. It was time. Bella noche means just as you said, "beautiful night", or "beautiful evening" in Italian (I had to look that up, of course, cause I don't speak a word of Italian myself). Van Gogh's famous painting just seemd to fit.
And now, hopefully, Bowie won't call me bm anymore. And when she stops calling me bm, maybe we can be friends.
