Hey there ladies, and the gents we get. Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time 5/25/2006, they're going to implode the imfamous Trojan nuclear facility in southern Washington state. The radioactove core was removed years ago. All that is left is a concrete venting shaft.
The facility is located nearby the Toutle river, and Spirit Lake, which were both devastated by the eruption of Mt St Helens so many years ago.
Both the river, and the lake have recovered now, with new fish and wildlife, and supporters hope that the destruction of The Trojan nuclear plant will only futher the re-development of this precious ecosystem.

Cool! Send us pics!
Is this a wise thing to do? What if there is still nuclear particles just waiting to be unleashed. How is the wildlife doing? Any mutations going on?

The core was removed years ago darlin'. It's just a concrete shell now. No mutations whatsoever. Just abundant life in the after-glow of St. Helens orgasm.
My problem is that it was a landmark! How will I know the halfway mark now when I'm traveling north to see family?!
I'm so scared-I really mean it.

Ahhh, the power of mother nature. Her way of cleansing the earth when we fail to do it. Such sweet melody to that tune.
But you can take them to see Mount Helens, right? That is one hell of a land mark too!

St Helens scares me right now sweetie. She's gonna blow tomorrow, or 10 years from now. Who knows?
How's your situation? Any better? We don't have any bad storms, just rain. I hope you're doing okay.

I'm fine. And prepared. It's the only thing we can do for hurricane season. All the animals have their shots up to date, my horse has his vet certificate up to date. I'm all ready to go!

BOYCOTT!! if its a landmark y take it down right? Over here our land mark is an old house that was built in the late 1700's early 1800's and it's right near the ocean. The roof kinda fell in, but now it has a sun roof! lol

I cannot tell you how many "historical landmarks" we have here in Texas... we always find an excuse to not tear anything down.

My county plays this (we'll let you historians keep this place if you let us take that)
And, a lot of our landmarks are being solf to foriegners. Someone told me that the St Lois Arch was sold to some Japanese investors. Dont know how true it is though.
