Poseidon Adventure. You know what, Richard Dreyfuss, Andre Braugher and I believe the female singer in Black Eyed Peas has a cameo. It's not as bad as the critics pan it to be. There is also a young actress in it, Emily Rossum I believe is her name, has promise. She also played Jake Gyllenhal's love interest in The Day After Tomorrow.

And wasn't Emily Rossum in The Phantom of the Opera?

Warhorse: have you seen the original Poseidon Adventure? I'm such a huge fan of the original, I'm not sure if I want to spend the money to see the new one. Then again, Josh Lucas is a cutie....

I havent seen the original, so I couldn't compare. It's not bad, but I have seen better movies. The biggest complaint is no character developement, and except for Josh Lucas and Emily Rossum, I tend to agree.

Well this Friday, DaVinci Code!!
Anybody going to see it?? The popular French actress, I forgot her name but she played in Amelie. She is in it as well..
I am going to check it out, but I will probably not go this weekend, next week when it's in the 80's here in Chicago, and then I will go in the daytime.

Rach, the DaVinci code is based on the book that is based on the secrets of the Bible and partially, the Holy Grail.
I mean there are tons and tons of info about lost books of the Bible and that Jesus had a wife and family, the movie plays on some of this.
It's kinda like National Treasure, only in the sense that it uses alot of secret type codes and stuff. Especially Masonic symbolism.
But yes, I am looking forward to seeing that and X-Men, which is next Friday ;D

I'm so excited about the Da Vinci Code I can't even stand it. I'll probably have to wait a while to see it tho, I hates me a crowded theatre.
Oh well, it's gonna rock whenever I see it.

I might wait to see it to. Right now, there is a chance you might have some nuts in the theater who are against the film's release, and could interrupt the film going experience, or worse, so I'll wait.
But X3, opening night, I will be there! Love to watch horror and action films in a packed theater, nothing can beat the sensation.
Also, the new Superman looks pretty cool!

I share your enthusiasm...I'm just finishing the book it freakn rocks! I work at a theatre so I might watch it before I go into work so it might be packed! The actress is French her name is something like...I wont even spell it because I don't want to mispell it...all I know is that she was in Amelie and A very long Engagement... This is a movie that shouldn't be missed. Unless your are very devout and religious you might be offended.

Audrey Tautou...
...I'm not going to see the movie b/c I'm uber religious... I'm not. I'm simply boycotting it for Tom Hanks and his hair.
