Do any of you like Keira Knightly. I actually like her acting, but alot of people I know dont care for her.
Did you know she also played one of the hand maidens in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace?

I adored her in Love Actually and Bend It Like Beckham. She has a maturity for her age. However, I think she can only go so far. She's a leading lady, but we'll never see her altering her appearance and soul for a role like the oscar ladies Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman.. then again, she is young and has time.
Nevertheless, she is friggin gorgeous and everyone who hates her is just jealous of her model beauty.

I think "Love Actually" and "Bend It Like Beckham" were her best roles to date.
And I think she is pretty in the face, but...she's too da*m*n*ed thin. Eat something, woman. I'm sorry but...real women, IMHO have curves.
And as an actress, I think she's over-rated. She's not that good yet. She needs more practice. She's no Scarlett Johnannsen, Julianne Moore, etc. Yet, she's in movies to where she's making MORE money than them women and they are better actresses, IMHO. Not jealous of her at all.

I love Scarlett Johansson, ever since The Horse Whisperer. I think she's great, and is defintely Oscar material. Loved her in Lost in Translation and in The Island. She's proabably my favorite of all the young ladies out there.
The young actresses out there I really dont care for are Reese Whithersp00n, Julia Stiles, and Kate Bosworth. The latter, she gets a tremendous amount of attention, and judging by the rles I've seen her in so far, I dont know why. Maybe she's somebody in hollywood's kid, to get the roles she has been given. IN other words, I think the Superman Lois would have been better with Rachel McAdams. Just my opinion.

I didn't like Reese Withersthingy until I saw her in "Pleasantville" and "Walk The Line." I thought she was a GREAT June Cash. I have a few "countrified" friends who are HUGE Johnny fanatics and we all agreed on Joaquin Phoenix NOT doing a good job as Johnny Cash and we can't understand WHY he got nominated for an Oscar for that movie. He didn't even sound any good, for God's sake. He sounded HORRIBLE! Whereas Reese, well...she should make a country album, IMHO. But in all the other things she had been in other than those two movies, Warhorse, I'd tend to agree with you on, as well as those other actresses. I think Scarlett Johannsen is a very talented young woman and quite beautiful. I hope she goes far. I think she deserves to.

I thought Scarlette was gorgeous in The Island, I liked the way she had her hair in that movie. I also thought it was cool that she was costarring opposite Ewan McGregor(who is probably my most favorite actor) and Sean Bean, another favorite of mine. I have a thing for them Brittish, Scottish and Irish accents! I also love it when Bono from U2 talks, he has a nice voice too!
Sorry, rambling here!

Well it's funny how somebody mention Ewan and Keira, seeing how both of them were in Phantom Menace. I think that was Keira's first American roll.
Also, Bend It Like Beckham is coming on I think the WB this week, so check your local listings....
And then also, Keira last role was in last summer's Domino, where she played Domino Harvey, who died a couple of months before the movie was scheduled to open.

I saw Bend It Like Beckham a few years back. I think it was about a woman's soccer team (over there, I think they call soccer foot ball!)

Yes, Soccer, or football as the rest of the world calls it, is bigger in other countries than it is in the United States. I think it is just getter to be as big since abut maybe what, in the past 10 years??? Even though Soccer has been playing here in the States. One of the best teams in the world, which loved Bend It Like Beckam, is of course the UK's Manchester United. And Beckam is probably one of the most famous soccer players next to Pele in the world. I mean that says alot about who you are to have a movie named after you and your not even 40 yet

I saw RV... it was cute, but it could have been funnier with a higher rating (it was only PG).
