I saw d Da Vinci Code. 4m a person who's also read d book, I though they did a pretty good job. they did stay true 2 d book. d only diff. is dat d book is very detailed and long, and although d movie is long as well, cannot stay extremly true 2 evry single detailed 4m d book due 2 time.
i did 2 hear about d criticism about d film, but went anyways. I did liked it. it was pretty much watching d book. d only changed one 2 lines and added one funny one at d very end. didnt make any difference though. they also managed 2 get much of d explained details 4m d book n a very nice and visual way.
it does not carry much action, but then again d book didnt either. d action goes into finding out wot gets discovered @ d end of d book.
n my opinion, it was a very good film. d filmaker stayed true 2 d book. it also had a very emotional ending. i'd recomended.

d movie talks about a secret about jesus christ's marital status during d time dat he was on earth. forgive me, but im not very much in tune w/ religion. so anyways, there is this one group, opus dei, who r trying 2 erase anyone and anything about this secret. there is also the priory of sion who protect those who noe about this secret. its pretty much a suspense novel. its not much action, if any, as much as wanting to get 2 d end of d story n which this secret is then revealed.
i thought it was pretty good.

Yeah it's based on the premise that Jesus had a wife and kids, that he married Mary Magdelene.
And that the Holy Grail is actual the decendents of Jesus. The woman in the movie, is suppossed to be the latest decendent, thus the Holy Grail.

Also, okay, this week it's all about the X-Men...when is everybody going to see it??? Friday? Saturday? Sunday??
I think I probably will go see it next Monday or Tuesday, I want to go see it during the day, and Friday during the day will be crowded in Chicago.

Wolverine...
it takes a special kind of person to be able to pull off that type of facial hair.

I would have loved to have gone on costume. the only problem at the time is that I was working late that night and barely made it to the premiere. I dont think that makes anyone look geeky. Your just having a blast. besides who cares about wot anyone thinks.
