I been curious about what all of you do. I assume since most of you are teenagers you are still in school but I'd love to know what year you are in and whether you are in high school or college. And if you aren't in school but have a job, I'd like to know what your job is. I realize some of you are probably in school and have jobs. Lastly, do you like school or your job?
I will start. I have a college degree but I have chosen to stay home and be a full time Mommy to my five children. I love my job and would not trade it for anything in the world.

well am still a student,and after i finish high school i will do to college to be a Graphic Designer I LOVE IT

stay at home mom...who wished she had gone to college ...so now that my kids are olser I could something decent...instead of dumb and stuck

Im a student also, and when i finish High School,(which is in a couple more years) i want 2 be a Marine Biologist, if that doesn't work, im gonna stick with my artistic, drawing skills, and become a Artist!

I have a degree in electronic and computer science, and work at a corporation that designs, assembles and implements communication satelite systems. Most are for aircraft, but we also do stand alone radar systems. We also have huge contracts with the government, installing communication and navigational equipment into jets, carriers, and we even have a sub contract for S.E.T.I, who for a huge extraterrestial buff like me, is almost like making the plastic of Apolo's helmet!
In my spare time, I paint murals for people's home and train horses!

Im a high school student(sophmore). And after high school....i m going to either UC Davis or UCLA or UCSD ( i have more chioces but these are my top choices). I am like a Science nerd !!LOL soo my field be in the science area im not sure, but i would like to major in BioChemistry Engineering. Or I like to be a Lab Technician in the medicine field. Soo..yeah im all for science and experiments and data and stuff like that.

Thanks so much to all of you who have responded! I have really enjoyed reading what you "do." Nerka, I can totally see you being a graphic designer! You are really talented in that way. Laura, you may be stuck but you are not dumb! I am sorry you feel that way, though.  Have you considered going back to college? Also, there are a lot of jobs out there now that you can get that pay pretty decent even without a college degree. My husband does have a college degree but both of his jobs he could have done without a college degree and he loves them both. Rach, that is great about wanting to be a Marine Biologist. I have a son who is fascinated by sea life and I can see him doing something like that too. Warhorse, wow! You job sounds amazing! And the one you do in your "spare time" does, too. Sintha, I really admire people that have a scientific mind because I do not. I hope you get into the university of your choice! |

I am a junior in high school, and work at a daycare. After high school, I am going to a community college to get my bachlors in pscyology and culinary arts. After that, I am going to culinary school to become a chef. After that, I want to open my own resturant. I would also like to open a resturant with my cousin who is also a chef.

I am in charge of operations at beautiful, historic theatre. We host all kinds of performing arts and cultural events from classical music and dance to jazz, rock concerts and even film festivals. I am also a freelance flutist and teach flute lessons on the side. I have a bachelor's degree is music theory. I am also a wife and a Mama (I have a 4 year old son).

Medical transciption. It makes me want to punch my own self in the face, lol. ;D Hey Nerka...Are you suuuure you want to be a graphic designer?  Hey Rach, do they teach marine bio at your school? In high school I took marine bio and really liked it. We got to set up fresh and salt water tanks and raise fish and stuff. I even got a little shrimp in my salt water tank. I named him Quigly. ;D He was red and white striped...God...I miss him, lol. RIP Quigmeister. |

Have you considered going back to college? Also, there are a lot of jobs out there now that you can get that pay pretty decent even without a college degree. My husband does have a college degree but both of his jobs he could have done without a college degree and he loves them both.
