Hey there. I know I should be working on “The Apolinne Saga” but I forgot where I left off on vacation and this idea just popped into my head. I’m going to rate it PG and it is in Zack’s POV. (aka Julianne’s boyfriend) I hope you enjoy it!
~~~~~~~~~~
I should have known they would end up together. You can’t fake chemistry like that. Apolo is a great guy, I know that. I just thought it was going to be Julianne and me forever. I had known her from the age of fourteen, she was nine. When she came back from London we hit it off and began to date. I don’t think there was a doubt in anyone’s mind that we would get settled down and have lots of kids.
I was a regular watcher of Dancing with the Stars, I had to be, my fiancé was on it! I could tell they were into each other. The looks Julianne gave Apolo were the same ones she used to give me.
Apolo was a real gentleman; I have to give him that. He always included me to all the things Julianne and him were going to, like his birthday party. I had to leave the party early because I wasn’t feeling well; at least that’s what I said. I really stayed and watched the two of them interact. When the cake was brought out and Julianne playfully smeared some on Apolo I started feeling sick for real. It didn’t come as a surprise when she called off the engagement a few days later.
I know what you are thinking; why didn’t I just break it off with her? Let her be happy. But the thing is I loved her, I still do actually. Inside there was a small ray of hope that it was just puppy love and when the show was over she would come running back to me.
I started hearing people around town whispering about me and Julianne. At the store and even at church. I caught people giving me pity glances so I decided to leave. I had a good friend in high school who had moved to China. I called him up and decided to stay with him for a while.
After cooling of a bit I decided to fly into LA for the finals of Dancing with the Stars. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I wasn’t there to support my girlfriend? That night they both seemed sad and their chemistry was off. The Paso was not perfectly in sync and at the end of the dance Apolo just left Julianne and didn’t walk with her over to the judges. I knew that he was usually more of a gentleman then that. I began to think to myself.
Did they get into a fight?
Are they tired? Nervous?
Then I realized that it was probably me. I had left a message on Julianne’s phone telling her I was coming and she probably told Apolo who decided he needed to back way off.
I started to feel sad that I took away their happiness. When they won they didn’t even seem that happy. Apolo had to be prompted to thank Julianne and I thought that was strange too.
A week later the fame started to settle in for Julianne and she decided to pursue a life in singing rather then becoming a “stay at home mom.” I don’t blame her though, we are still friends and a little birdie told me that her and Apolo are now dating and that she goes to the training center every chance she gets to go and see him.
But you know what? I am happy too. I have meet another girl at the dentist office I work at, and who knows what will happen next? But that’s another story.
End.
Well how did you like it? It was a total spur of the moment thing and for those readers of “The Apolinne Saga” I probably won’t be able to update soon. I’m sorry I know I keep giving you guys excuses after excuses, but my mom is going into some hard core surgery and I am going to need to help her out for a couple of weeks. Sorry. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this and please review!
