Dancing With The Stars: After the Finale, Chapter Three (PG 13)
They were back in L.A., and returning back to the hotel. Julianne still had some things to pick up. It was around lunch, and she was hungry.
" Are you hungry? I know I am! My brother (Derek Hough) and I are going to get a bite to eat. Do you want to come?", she said, being careful of what she said and the way she said it.
"I was just thinking about lunch", said Apolo. "Where and when do you want me to meet you guys?"
"You can just ride with me, I mean us", she said, correcting herself quicky. "He's going to pick us up here. I'm going to take a shower and get ready."
"That sounds good."
In the bathroom, Apolo was nervous about the lunch. Especially since Derek was going to be there. He knew he had to really watch himself then. If he found out, there might be some fighting. (If Apolo and Derek got into a fight, who do you think would win?)
At the Restaraunt, everyone was quiet, especially Apolo and Julianne. They even sat apart from each other.
"What's going on between you two? You guys act like you've done something terrible and don't want anyone to find out", said Derek curiously.
"What's that supposed to mean? There's nothing going on", said Julianne snapping at him.
"Geez, bite my head off why don't ya. I didn't mean anything; it's not like you guys are having an affair", said Derek, jokingly.
"Well, there's nothing going on, right Apolo?"
"............"
"Right Apolo?"
"Huh, oh, yeah."
"You guys don't seem very happy for people who just won Dancing With The Stars."
"I'm done. Lets go."
Back at the hotel:
"Well, I'm going to go", said Julianne, "I will see you tomorrow. Remember, were going to be on The View."
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember", said Apolo, in a rushing kind of voice.
"Well fine, if you're going to act like that", she left, slamming the door behind her.
"What are you doing Apolo?", he thought to himself, "Why are you treating her this way? You'd better go apologize."
"Julianne, wait. I'm sorry."
"I just don't see why you're acting like this."
He could see he had brought her to tears.
"I'm sorry. I never wanted to make you cry", he said giving her a hug.
"Thanks, you're so nice."
For some reason, she didn't want the hug to end. She was feeling things she had never felt before. She liked being in his arms.
"Julianne, you're doing it again. Stop. Get out of the situation now before it's too late and you regret it", she thought. But she didn't want it to end. She could feel the power in his strong but gentle hands, and she like the feel of them. There was just something about him.
Apolo could sense a change in her mood. He could feel her body, next to his, become relaxed, and was literally leaning on him. He knew he couldn't take advantage of the situation. Besides, she didn't want him.
"Soooo, I'll see you tomorrow?", he said breaking away from her.
"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow."
Walking back to his room, he could smell the remnants of her perfume on him. But he knew it was all in his head.
