Hello! I’m back with another Apolo/Julianne story! And this time it will be a story, not just a one-shot! I’m not sure how far I am going to take this story, so you guys are just along for the ride! After this chapter I won’t be able to update for a while because I will be on vacation, but when I come back I will probably be able to update more regularly.
Disclaimer: Do we really need these? *sigh* I don’t own Apolo, Julianne, or Dancing with the Stars.
Rating: PG13 (I’m sure about this yet, but after my first fic I decided to be safe…)

When I first met Julianne I knew we would get along. She had a friendly smile and her bubbly personality seemed to radiate off her, making me smile too.
“Hello, I’m Julianne,” she said extending a delicate hand.
“I’m Apolo,” I replied, “But you probably already knew that.”
She shrugged and said, “Well, you are the star…”
We laughed and I knew signing up for Dancing with the Stars was the right decision.

Our dance for the week was the “Cha Cha.” Julianne seemed happy with this dance and immediately set me to work.
“Left. Right. Left. Right. Lift your head, don’t look at your feet!” Julianne directed while chapping to the beat. She was defiantly not as innocent as I gave her credit for. Julianne then snapped me out of my mini trance and we began to work again.
Three stomped toes, about a million mis-steps, and a bump on the head later Julianne decided it was time to call it a day. I looked at my watch and realized it was around dinner time. I looked over at Julianne who was packing up her bags.
“Hey Julianne,” I called. She turned and I continued, “Do you want to go somewhere for dinner tonight?”
“That would be really nice actually. Where were you thinking about going?” She replied.
“Erm… I’m actually not sure I’m just figuring my way around…”
“No problem. There is a good Mexican restaurant near by. Here I’ll write the address down and we can meet there at around seven. Sound good?”
I looked at my watch; 5:46, “That sounds perfect.”
She smiled and grabbing her bag made left. I looked at the little slip in my hand then slipped it into my pocket.

I gave the paper to the taxi cab driver and we set off on a quick trip. When we reached the place Ii paid my fare and secured a table outside for two. I glanced at my watch, it read; 6:54. I glanced around and found I really liked the feel of the place, it looked authentic and it was mostly lit by candles and Christmas lights and the perfect California weather just made it perfect.
Julianne arrived ten minutes later in a pair of dark jeans and a purple blouse looking great. As she sat down the ring on her hand glimmered in the light and I suddenly realized what that ring meant.
“Who’s the lucky guy?” I asked casually.
“Oh, my fiancé Zack. He’s a ballroom dancer too. He is actually in China right now.”
“Really? What’s he doing there?”
“I’m not really sure, but it is something to do with dance.”
I nodded and the waiter came to take our orders.
After a great meal we decided to call it a night. I asked for the check and with some mild arguing about the bill we got into her car and she gave me a lift back to my hotel. She pulled up to the front entrance and we sat in silence for a brief moment.
“I had a great time tonight Julianne.”
“Me too, thanks again for dinner.”
“You know we sound like two teenagers on a first date.” Julianne laughed and I opened the door and stepped out. As I was about to shut the door Julianne called out.
"Get a lot of sleep, you’re gonna need it for tomorrow!”
“Okay,” I called back and shut the door heading into the lobby and made my way to my room.
So how did you like Chapter one? Huh? Eh?? Please let me know what you think! Not all of this stuff happened in real life obviously but I felt like putting some extra stuff in there!
