Fiona was sleeping soundly until she was awoken by her cellphone blaring. Fiona jolted out of bed and picked up. "Finally! Geez! So I have to call you and I told you to call me?!" The Voice hollorred. Fiona knew who it was. "Hi Tammy. I forgot." Fiona mumbled. "Oh fine that's okay whatever. Well I ran into your friends and they wanted to say I tell your friends they wanted to stay I tell then they love yew so...We love yew! There okay life is the same here. Hows life there? Being good?" Fiona sweared this girl could litteraly talk a mile a minute. "Thanks for the message tell them the same from me. Life is good. And sure." "oh yeah! Go to church yet?" Tammy asked. "Huh? Isn't it like Saturday?" "No its sunday!" Tammy spat out. "Oh my gosh! Ah! I don't even know where to go to church!" Fiona panicked. "Well down the street I saw a church and you better hurry mass starts in 15!" Tammy said. "I'll hang up. Chow!" "Bye." Fiona said. And immediatly got ready and sprinted out the door. She made church barely. But right after realized she had a mini-sunday warm-up thing. She had no time so she just went straight to the center where Apolo was waiting. "woah. What's with the fancy stuff! Don't you know it's a sunday mini-warm up?" Apolo sputterred. "I had...to uhm...go to church. Sister er called and made me." Fiona said nevously. Apolo made a funny face. And then said "Scuze me for a secound." hE LEFT THE ICE RINK AND CLOSED THE DOOR AND HOOTED WITH LAUGHTER TILL TEARs filled his eyes. Fiona could here him and was blushing like mad. He finally came back out with some practice clothes and told her to go change in them in the girl's locker room. ANd with that she snatched them and burst through the locker door. She then immediatly started changing. NO one was in the locker room. They had there warm ups at a different time. She sighed she was so alone If only she had a true friend over in Colorado Springs. So she took a breather and sat for a bit and reflected in the locker room.
Apolo was getting immpatient. It was taking her an awful long time to get dressed. But then he was a guy and couldn't go in the girl's locker room.
Fiona finally came out. Finaly! Apolo stutterred. Now lets see what you got. FIona smirked and said"Okay!" well... apolo said. I'm goiing to be a mean coach and make us run a mile on the trail behind her for a warm up. How do u like that?" He winked. Fiona sounded puzzled ans said. "I thought it was a MINI Warm up." Oh well I thought I wound make it longer since you missed practice! I wanna see what you got! Why are you scared becasue we can do the "Mini warmp up" if you want." Apolo tesed. "bring it" Fiona called out. And so apolo and fiona set off running in the trail. At first it was just a nice and easy run side by side. But that was about to change. I=
"I have to go fast!" She thought "this game isn't over yet!" So she started to pick up speed. APolo soon caught on that she was trying to beat him. To himself he thought "SO this is how its gonna be ay? Well se about tjos/
each secound that passed they both wemt a little faster! Until it was just sprinting. both of them were fast. THey now wanted to see who was a faster runner.
Meanwhile, just a tid bit down the road Shani sat on a rock taking a break from his 1 mile run. SOon he saw both APolo and Fiona running full speed down the trail both with this fire in their eyes, not stopping for ANYTHING or ANYONE! Shanni tried to decide which one had more fire in there eyes. But he couldn't eah one was just as feirce. But of course, he didn't get THAT log of a chance to observe there eyes because they went speeding past him. He chuckled to himself. "man this is good stuff. And drank out of his water. Finally they reached back to the training center. And withouth a suprise, a tie. Both of them were panting heavily chugging down water, but this didn't bother each of them at all. Finally Apolo said "You are quite a runner." but why did we ave to wate all that energy racing for more than half a mile?" Fiona replied. "thanks! So are you. Is this an Olympian I hear comlaining about a mere race?" She smirked "No no no not at all! I just assumed you would were yourself out before we began." APolo smirked. "Uhuh. Right. Well lets get this skating thing on the road ay?" Fiona replied. "Yeah sure okay!" And so they both made there way back to the ice rink in silence besides for the gasping for air.
"Now then." For our practice drill. I would like you to practice turning a long these coner." Apolo said. He thougt she whouldn't be able to do this. But suprisingly she did this with ease. "MAn!" He thought, "This girl is full of suprises!" Then he decided to go easy on her and just let her do a few 15 laps (take note this is an olympian center) around. the course. And so she did she went incredibly fast and Apolo was stunned. THis kid was just like he started out.
She grinned "This it coach?" "Yep! Its lunch time anyway!" APolo grinned back. "Uhuh. Well se ya at lunch!" As she left throught the door so APolo could pick up his cones. "Bye." APolo waved.
"Oh yeah and Apolo?"
"Yeah?"
"Maybe... one of these days... i could u know. race you. on skates i mean."
"Yeah one day."
"realy?

"Sure."
"well see ya at lunch."
"And apolo?"

You know he was gonna be just fine with her. Just...fine. But then again this kid was FULL of suprises.
