Archie pocketed his ticket as he sat in his coach seat. Morgana had begged him not to tell Majory the truth, but she deserved to know. And he was going to be the one to tell her. And he had to make her understand what was going on. Soon. But first he had to check on her. She hadn't answered any of his calls. Morgana had tried, with no such luck either. She had aged in the last few days, and it worried him. His half sister never acted like this. But she found out she was Majory's aunt. Blood wise, how did that make her feel. More guilty? Afraid? He hoped it was none of them. They needed each other in the future. He had to save those two, before they crumbled. Like everything around them. He layed back, put on a movie, and closed this eyes, as the funny words of Jeff Foxworthy floated in his hears. "You might be a redneck if..."

Morgana sat on the edge of the couch. Trembling. She felt so wrong, so disturbed. Her baby girl almost died, and she let Lyle bad mouth her. She prayed Majory would find it in her heart to forgive her. She called again, but found no answer. She hung up the phone, buried her face in her hands, and wept.

Her phone was off, she was in a hospital. Nora was being released today. They decided to go visit a park while they sat and discussed the man who drugged one, and nearly killed the other. Kenny was protective of his wife, was strong. But when he laid his eyes on Majory, the big man broke down and cried. Hugging the young lady to him, thanking her for finding his wife, how she may not have made it. She just blushed. Recalling that night, then remembered that gash on Apolo's arm. Did he get a good look at that yet? She sure hoped so, infection could settle in at any moment. Someone next to them brought up the news of random cougar shootings. Majory winced, Nora sobbed, but Ken shook his head, telling her she was fine, and was growling at him when he got to the cabin, and he ran for it. The cat growled at him, which caused him to go that much faster. Nora laughed, telling him it was her way of teasing him. "What a way to do it, Nora. That scared the sh__ out of me." He glanced at Majory, blushed and said he was sorry. She only smiled, and shook her head.

Apolo argued with Kimo on his way to the hospital. "It's fine."
"No, it's not." He argued. Then grinned. "Besides isn't that girl there?"
"What girl?" Kimo laughed. He had him.
"Shani's girlfriend?" Apolo looked at Kimo then his face turned dark. "Ah, your girlfriend?"
"Yes, mine, not Shani's." He growled. Then, "she's there, oh, I nearly forgot."
Kimo smiled, but they'd be gone by the time they'd be arriving if this traffic was any indication.

She was talking to Nora, as the woman was getting ready to leave when they heard a commotion. Then heard a nurse say, "Sir, sir, you can't go back there, you're to go down to the ER with your arm looking like that, sir!"
She heard another voice say, "It's useless, nurse, he's here to see his girlfriend. And won't leave until he does." Majory looked over to Nora who was grinning ear to ear, she only shrugged. A person gasped. Apolo held up his hand for silence. Then pounced on her.
"Majory!" she yelped. "There you are. Good thing you're here, maybe you can save me."
She didn't look at him, didn't dare. "Help you with what?" She shook her head. "I'm here for Nora. We're supposed to leave and..." But Apolo wouldn't hear of it. Instead, he only smiled at her, and when she looked, her stomach flipped. And so another argument began.
Nora waved her away. Letting her and Apolo speak it out. She chased him to the hallway. Knowing full well why he was here, grabbing his arm when the same voice that told him that he couldn't go into where Majory was stated, "I wouldn't do that ma'am." Majory jerked. Then looked at the wound. It was angry looking. It started to blister. And darken. The looks of it worried her.
"Apolo, what is wrong with you, you need to get checked out." He only stared at her, she lost concentration. Then started again. "Apolo! Come on." She pulled at his arm. He didn't budge.
"Not until you promise me something." She rolled her eyes.
"What?" She demanded.
"Promise you'll stick around." She knew what he meant, but wasn't going there. She seen Yuki walk up, she stepped back. But Apolo pressed on. "You're going to stay here, understood?"
Majory turned to him. Growled, then said, "Apolo, if you don't get yourself down to ER, then I'm going to help them hold you down and let them give you a much needed shot in the butt!"
He grinned, looking all to sexy for his own good, then said. "Will you watch them stick me, or would you do the honors." She blushed, but threatened him.
"If I were to do it, it would be none to gentle." She hissed back. He looked like he didn't believe her. She only grumbled. Then wrapped her arm around him, drug him along to the elevators, pushed the ground floor, rolled her eyes while she waited, and shoved him in. He laughed, nuzzled her neck.
"You like me?"
"What are you on?"
"Nothing." But he was lying. But she grew scared, held his hand closer. "Don't worry about me sweety, I'll be fine. Then we can go on a real date." She made a sound in her throat. "Promise." She stood still, her heart beating. Majory followed the signs to the ER. There stood Rusty, Apolo's former team mate. Apolo frowned. Wondering what he was doing there.
Rusty rushed up to them both. "Apolo! Shani called me, are you okay?" Apolo tried to speak, but got woozy. Majory cried out softly, but Rusty held onto Apolo. He looked at her.
"Oh, I'm Majory. He got hurt trying to save me. Um, he needs help, his wound is really nasty." She blabbled. Rusty still looked serious, but talked to a nurse passing by, took a good look, and she hurried to get a doctor on call. He grew pale, his body clammy. Majory touched his brow, then whimper. "Apolo, oh Apolo, I'm so sorry!" She sobbed, turn and ran.

Nora found her outside, crying. It broke her heart. She rubbed her arm. "We'll make a rain check. Stay for him, call me when you know something." She handed her a slip of paper, smiled, then walked to her car where her husband waited for her.
Majory turned on her phone, seen a phone call from her mom, and dialed her number.
****************************************************
Morgana woke with a start, and picked up the phone. It was her. She woke with each sound of her voice. "Sorry Mom, my phone was off, here at the hospital, I'm fine, but Apolo got hurt, and I was going to speak with this lady here, and..."
"Majory!" Morgana cried, cried harder when she heard her daughter cried, they both cried together on the phone, thousands of miles away.
"Mama, please come, please!" She begged. Sobbing.
"Yes, baby, yes! I'll come right away. Let me get my PDA, check out the fastest flight out of here, and I'll be on my way, I'm so sorry." She heard Majory whimper. "Lyle's gone honey. All he wanted was my money. And you, he thought he could get you." Morgana was ashamed.
"I don't care, just come, Apolo's hurt, he may die!" She wailed.
"Oh, baby, he'll be fine, just fine, oh, I gotta call, call me back as soon as you can! Call me collect if you can, or however, just call me. And get your butt back in there girl. He may need to hear that you are near." And with that Majory hung up and ran into the hospital.
****************************************************
Apolo was not fully under, but nearing there, he was looking for her, where was she? Ah there she was, all he needed was some kind of reassurance. "Morning Dew?"
****************************************************
Majory stopped dead in her tracks, embarrassed as Apolo called her friends name. She shook her head as Alex, J. P, and Rusty looked at her, oh God, they knew, they knew about hims seeing her, she turned, ran out, and hailed down a bus.
****************************************************
The killer stood outside the hospital. Bloated in glory. He had poisoned that knife before he left that night. It worked like a virus, and it was in Apolo's system, attacking. All was going well for him, he laughed. About time.
****************************************************
Majory phoned Nora, asked her to stop somewhere near where the bus made it's stops. She needed a friend, she wailed, some place to stay. Most of all, she needed to know that Apolo was fine. Nora said that she would meet her in a few miles, then they could go gather her things, and pick up Wulfric, knowing he was missing his owner. Majory said thank you and hung up, curling into a little ball.
