Majory hurt all over. Instead of feeling rested, she felt like she'd been up for hours on end. Shocked at what she had said early in the morning. But she didn't care. She was a mess. The phone rang by her, she jumped, but answered it. "Hello?"
"What in the hell were you thinking? Scaring us like that!" Yuki yelled at her. Majory felt fury mounting. "Are you so irresponsible that you had to leave without word, or even a note."
"Yuki," she started, and once she got going, it was hard to stop her. "It was clear you didn't want your son there last night, I called my mom, her and Lyle could care less what happens to me, I'm not family, I'll pay you for the damages, but I will not be bullied for something I thought was right. I'm sorry for those who worried over me, but, like I said, I will not be bullied!"
"We thought something happened to you..."
She laughed, actually laughed. "Oh, Yuki. It nearly did here, and I tell you, I'm lucky, or unlucky for the way I see things, that I'm still alive, he was here last night. I wanted to give up, to die. I don't want to hear it. I want to be left alone!" She shouted. "I will help his woman catch this sicko, then I'm out of here. This was a bad idea all along, but I'm not sorry. I'm free from that part of my life, and looking for a new start. Just, tell Apolo I'm fine, and I want Wulfric back. I don't have a car, I took a cab here. I'm sorry for all the crap that I caused."
"Now listen here..."
"Yuki, once I'm set, I'm set."
"So am I!" He reminded her readily. "How can you do this to my son, he is not himself."
"That's so unfair to me, and you know it. You don't want me with him, admit it."
"True!" she laughed.
"Okay, well, you can explain that to him." She answered, then hung up on him, leaving him sputtering at her. She didn't care. She wanted to be somewhere, somewhere with out pressure. All by herself. Her and her buddy. "Sorry Apolo." She told herself. "It's over before it even began."

Morgana got into a fight with Lyle that same day. "I promised, promised her that no matter what I'd take care of her! I've closed myself off, and for what? So you could have her money. It's not mine, and you're not getting one red dime of it."
"I'll see you in court."
She laughed. So hard it hurt. "That will won't be broken." She turned bitter. "You won't get nothing from me, now, get out! Now, this is my home. My things, my money, my cars. But please, take that Mercedes, your little toy, and get out of here. I'll call for someone to get your stuff, if I don't decide for a bon fire." She smiled, looking like a purely scorn woman. "Go to your bimbo. Will she want you once she knows you have nothing?" She laughed. "You are pathetic." She pointed to the door, nostrils flaring, and watched him leave. She fell onto the couch. Thought of her child hood friend. "Sorry I failed, but I swear, SWEAR, that I will make things write by her, Kindred Spirit will have what you wanted all along."

Apolo was mad, more than that, he was furious. But he grabbed the wolf pup, which licked him crazily in greeting, then drove to a park to meet Majory. He found her, taking a deep breath at what stoof before him. Her light blue jogging outfit made her glow. Her blondish hair free and down in the breeze. She looked cool, and collected, he felt his heart jump. His breath caught, Wulf's noises gave them away. For she neared, smiling, and held out her hands for her pet. Apolo wouldn't let it go so easily. He grew closer, held him out, then wrapped his arm around Majory's shoulder. She sighed.
"We need to talk, after all this blows over, I want alone time with you."
"I can't promise you anything." Was that her talking? She sounded cool.
He stopped her, turned her face to meet his, kissed her hard, felt her melt, sob, then draw closer. "You will meet me."
Her eyes glared with love. "Yes, yes." She told him, shook her head, and hugged Wulfric to her. "Where am I to go now?"
"Nora wants to talk to you, when ever you are ready, she told me."
"Tell her as soon as she feels up to it, then that's fine." She bit her lip. She changed since that phone call. And it scared her.
"Majory?" He murmured, she turned. "Stay, for me. Don't leave me, don't leave what could grow." She shook her head. "Please. Don't leave me, I don't know if I could survive." She sobbed harder this time. He knew he was begining to win. Smiling at her, bigger when she blushed. "Majory?"
"Yes?"
"Kiss me goodbye."
"Yes." He lifted her chin, not caring who seen them, brought his lips down to hers, grinning, then kissed her softly. Held her there, enchanted.
He held her close, her and the wolfpup. "It'll be okay, baby. No matter what, you've got me now. Remember that." She nodded. He gave her another kiss, took the pup, who growled, and said a quick goodbye. And as Majory wathced him walk away, she felt her life tilt. Her life would never be the same again. He meant the world to her.
