Apolo shuddered, then cleared his head. Then walked into the door way. Shaking his head. The idiot broke open the door, wood cracked, the lock loose. He'd have to watch over her. He heard Wulfric whimper, clawing at the door. Then he yowled. He ran, but the door was locked. He cursed, told the wolf pup to stay calm, then blasted the door in order to get it open...

Majory opened her eyes. It was dark. Hazy. She looked at where she was, and whimpered. Where the hell was she? What was going on? The pup growled in greeting at somebody. Then she sighed. She was at the cabin. Her mind slammed the door on the images that threatened to come through. She then heard foot steps. "Apolo?"

He pulled back the curtain, cursed, then leaned down. Wulfric licked his hand. As if he knew he was a hero. "Baby. Oh, baby. I'm so sorry. I blew two holes. One through the window, and another through the bathroom door." He smiled, looking too sexy for his own good. Majory gazed lovingly up at him. Clearing his throat, he reached for her, she gasped. The current passed through them.

The power decided to leave at the moment. It was there, then left, then the loudest boom shook the cabin. Majory felt as if she was falling...

Apolo held tighter. She breathed heavily. "Listen to me, when it's safe, I'll go hit that generator, but for now, I'll go get a flashlight."

"No!" She shouted. "Don't leave me, please!" He sighed.

"Okay, I won't. Just take a deep breath. That's it. Keep going."

"You need a towel. Wrap up that arm, you need peroxide..."

"Whoa! That can wait baby girl. Yikes! What about you..."

"But you're hurt, and I'm worried. Did you talk to Yuki?"

Silence answered. He let go of her hand. The wind was harsh, the wind bringing rain with it. He would pick her up, but his arm hurt like hell, worse now. He put the puppy back with its owner. Then got up, felt his way, and went to the kitched by memory, where he knew where the candles and matches were.

He cursed as he jabbed his finger along a jagged piece of glass. Grunted, then picked it out. He found a candle lighter, had to work with it, by the time he lit it, his thumb was throbbing like mad. He managed to light a small candle. Then went to the sink, running water over his cut. Satisfied with that, he went to look for matches. He lit a few more candles, placing them on the table. Even in the dark he could tell it was a mess. Apolo dropped into a chair, hanging his head. Could this night get any worse? He felt her, she was there, looking like an angel. Hair a cloud around her. Eyes dark, not with fear, but worry. Majory came up to him. Then touched him. He smiled at her. She felt dizzy. It had nothing to do with what was surrounded her, but everything to do with him. She moved around, found a couple of battery operated lights, blessed Yuki for his quick thinking. Turned them on.

She felt his eyes on her as she moved around the kitchen. Soft and fluid. He kept watching her. Majory then went to the bath room, looking for a first aid kit. Found a bandage, peroxide, and some gauze. Trembling slightly, she got every thing ready. Then walked back into the kitchen. Found him walking, pacing really, like a tiger at a zoo. "You're bleeding all over the floor. Have a seat." He jumped, sighed, then sat.

Pulling up a chair, and lit some more lamps around him for better lighting, she worked on him. Not paying any attention to anything but him. She smiled over his thumb, he jerked, waiting for a sting, but it didn't come. Instead she swabbed some ointment on him, then place a bandage on him. His head began to swell. He felt for the welt. Wondering how he got it. She raised up, muted in the light, and looked at it.

She sucked on her lip, the sound loud in the room. Then cooed at him. Soaked a pad in peroxide, and placed it on the wound. He jumped. It stung like the devil. He told her.

"Sorry sweety. Where did this happen at?"

"That's the problem, I have no idea."

She only nodded. She soaked up some dried blood, then applied some ointment. He hissed. She apologized again.

"Don't," his roughened voice answered. "It's okay." But it wasn't, his arm was the worst. He inhaled. Eyes dilating, she smelled good. Even when the fear caused sweat to trickle of her pours, she had a scent. It was tangy, yet sweet. And had soft perfume on. His eyes went to her breast. He tugged her to him, causing a shocked gasp from her. He laid his head on her bosom, needing comfort.

Majory knew it wasn't a move, even though his eyes zeroed in on her, no. It was as simple as needing comfort. A mother to a child, a woman to a husband, a lover to the loved. It was as old as time, he needed comfort. She cradled his head, careful not to injure his wound more, then sank her fingers into his soft as silk hair. She gasped over the touch, texture. Pure silk. He pulled her closer, nuzzled her collar bone, and held onto her. She answered by wrapping her arms around him...

They stayed that way for long moments, finally she pulled away, blushing from head to toe, as he moved against her. She tingled. Feeling slightly ashamed. The feeling new to her. She shook her head, then glanced at his arm, crying out softly. Apolo looked down, grimaced, and shuddered.

"D@mn it Apolo!" He only raised his brow. She grabbed his arm, twisted it, though careful of where to touch him. She then moved the material of clothing from his deep gash. It oozed a new. She felt tears in her eyes, she swiped them away, impatient with even emotions.

Majory then found scissors, hoping they were strong enough, then began to cut his shirt sleeve. He was quiet, almost too silent. He watched her. Eyes moving along her face. Trying to think of anything but the damage that jerk did. That brought him to reality, ready to jump on her case, then seen fat tears roll down her cheeks, he meant to wipe them away, but she jerked back. "Don't!"

He fell back. She sobbed.

"I'm sorry, Apolo, I, I, c-c-can't be touched right now without falling apart!" He said nothing. She dampened a towel, then pressed it to his skin, he cussed. She laughed. He growled, she gulped. Then patted at the gash. She closed her eyes, talking to him, preparing him for the harsh pain about to happen.

"Kiss me." Majory's eyes went wide. He grabbed for her again, where she slumped in his lap. He looked into her eyes, grinned, then kissed her. She went blank, head swimming. Apolo's lips were warm and ever so soft. Jerking back, shivering as he once again growled. "Why did you stop?"

"Apolo!" He actually laughed. Then cupped her face.

"Kiss me again, that way I'll be distracted while you dump this on me..." She shook her head no, but it was useless. Closing his eyes slowly, she felt as if she was being pulled, she stopped just an inch away, moaned, then touched his lips with her own. He tasted of mint. He radiated heat, warming her, thawing her heart. She whimpered, then sobbed. He moved, but kept kissing her, small nips, then reached for the liquid.

He sucked in a breath, gazed at her with slumberous eyes, kissed her hard, then dumped the peroxide on his arm. He bit her lip, he didn't mean to do it. He jerked back, feeling bad. Then he screamed, sounding like that of a wounded animal. Majory jumped up, frightened. She seen it bubble up. His teeth sank into his bottom lip, his nostrils flaring. He groaned. Sweat beaded his brow. Majory felt ill. She turned and ran, outside into the night, where she seen nothing, but ran, ran, ran...
