The closer Majory got to Apolo, the more nervous she felt. Her stomach was tied up in knots. Palms got sweaty. Suddenly Yuki pulled into a drive way. Then stopped. Glanced at her. "I'm going to let you go first, this first meeting will be tough, and I don't want to be in the way."
Majory wanted to say no, that she didn't want to, but it had to happen. The time was here. She opened the door, slid out, then walked slowly towards the cabin. Her own heartbeat seemed overly loud. The night life was chirping and buzzing. But that did not matter, a man, that was did matter. She heard them first, they were talking, hushed, yet it was important. Apolo's voice sent chills down her slender spine. Almost in a trance she stepped closer to the group. Shani was being even more quiet, going along with every word being said. Though he spoke when he thought needed. It didn't sound good. Everytime her name came from Apolo's mouth, she felt as if her heart was being stabbed by tiny knives. Suddenly fear grew strong, gripping with tight bony fists, it wouldn't let her go.

Shani hesitated, smelled a soft fragrance, knowing it was her, he turned to Apolo, gave him a look, then called for her. No answer, he went to see where she was. He caught Majory in the midst of a panic attack, he called out again, seen her scared eyes, assured her with his own, and held out a hand to her. She tried to come up closer, then Apolo came into view. Her world went dark, warped. His shirt was dirty, his jeans the same way. Hair that curled back. His eyes, his eyes were almond shaped, a deep hazel. His soul patch needed a slight trim. Nostrils flared out. He was pi**ed...

Apolo jerked. He seen plenty of photos of her from Morning Dew. And was told all about her also. But nothing prepared for the shock. Her eyes were wide, wild. Tremors pressed through Majory. Senses came alert. His hairs stood on end. Shani looked back at him, looked serious, then reached for her again. When he took her hand, she simply collapsed.

Shani caught her in time. Then waited until he thought all was fine. Time nearly stood still. Majory shuddered, then thanked Shani.
"Thank you, I don't know what in the world just happened, it was like something came over me."
Apolo snorted. "Yeah right. I for one am not going to believe your crap. What I want to know is what you are doing here. I want answers, and I want them now!"
Majory slitted her eyes, stood up, nearly bumped into Apolo, her finger jabbed his chest. "I do not have to tell you a d@**ed thing. I do not answer to you, or anyone else for that matter. I came here looking for answers."
"Apolo, don't." Shani warned. Apolo looked at him, then glared at the vibrating thing of fury that stood in front of him.
"So you sucked my dad into this? How do I know you don't have anything to do with Morning Dew's death?"
"How dare you!" She screamed. Tears pricked her eyes. Never in her life would she ever forget those words. Ever. He continued on. As if it didn't matter.
"Why don't you go back home, to where you belong, we have enough to do with out you hanging around, just go home. You have a lot of nerve being here. You don't belong here."
Shani got closer this time, knowing what Majory felt, he felt it too. Lost, hurt, angry. "Just leave, and never come back, Morning Dew was better off with out you." Majory gasped, turned and ran, moving Shani out of the way, sobbing, she ran to the cabin, went around it, then started to cry her eyes out.
Shani shook his head. "That was low, even for you. I've never seen you act like this, you disappoint me, dude."
Yuki was there, his obsidian eyes dark, shiny. "Apolo!" He was shocked himself. "As soon as things calm down, I want to see you say that you are sorry, she deserves respect, she lost the same person, the only one who understood her. Now, get to the suv, and stay put..."
"But..."
"Until you act your age, you will be treated like a child, now go!" He seen Apolo turn and walk off. "Shani would you go get the stuff for me, I'm going to give her a list of phone numbers to call. She needs to settle down. I hope she will after that."
