Here's this chapter...enjoy. It's kind of slow I didnt quite like the direction it was going to, but don't worry there's more!

Chapter 10
He woke up the next morning remembering everything quite vividly from the night before. He went to see how she was doing only to find an empty sofa with sheets neatly folded he was worried. He got ready and took off for and early practice only to find that somebody had beaten him to the ice. She was fast she was good and to his surprise she was skating against Rusty.
“I can’t keep up with you, Hello Olympic Speed Skater ring a bell?” she was panting. “Do you like expect me to keep up with you or something?”
“Seriously? Not really…harsh…I know, but you are a track star not a speed skater. I’m surprised that you actually weren’t too far behind though”, he laughed.
“Well that’s nice. I was only a speed skater for like two years I guess that somewhat helped me out with running I don’t know, but a track star? That’s a bit much” she smiled feeling a bit better than the night before.
“Well what do you know, a short track skater”
“Well my dirty little secret”, she grinned.
“Well kept” Apolo glanced at Rusty.
Jacqueline stayed to watch the team practice; she was just blown away by the amount of work and effort they put into it. The concentration was just intense, sure there were light moments here and there.
“I don’t think I do this much” she told herself.
After practice she asked Shani, since she had spent most of the day with Rusty, if she could get a lift home.
“I don’t want to bother Apolo”, she actually thought it would be awkward to stay another night there again.
“Umm okay sure lets go”
“You really are something you know. He’s been out of it, out of everything even his skating because of you”, Shani told her with out looking at her.
“Sorry. I really didn’t mean for any of this to happen”, she said.
She was just looking at her hands and her engagement ring she had just put back on. Then all of a sudden they where covering her face and tears.
“I don’t want him to mess up what he has because of what I did because of what happened”
“Please both of you give each other a break. Stop doing this to each other it’s ridiculous. He loves you!” Shani told her.
“He does?” she bluntly asked giving him a blank stare.
“Yeah, you looked surprised”
“Well he never actually ever told me. I just thought he felt some type of affection towards me. That’s why I fell that what has been happening doesn’t make sense”
“I see, is this it?”
“Oh, yeah”
“Thanks for the lift, it’s been great knowing you”
“Knowing me?”
She got out of the car, waved a goodbye and walked into her house.
“Am I all packed sis?”
“Yeah”
“Okay lets go”
