Personally, I love his goofball antics and his humor. They show he's human and as normal and crazy as the rest of us. There's zero pretentiousness. He is who he is and that's what endears him to people. I find it hard to believe that anyone would consider him immature given his wisdom and strict discipline, all of his accomplishments and the fact that he's been on his own since the age of 14. Let's not forget this guy singlehandedly took on (and continues to take on) the national governing body of US Speed Skating, insisting on changes, on behalf of his fellow team members and those who come behind at 20 years of age! He's knows he's the face of speed skating and takes that honor and responsibility very seriously. As a matter of fact, I find he can often times be too intense so I love when he adds those trademark quirky faces and gestures. (Maybe this says more about my maturity level though ). I think it all depends on what the situation calls for. I always got the impression that Apolo fans who cheered him on during DWTS enjoyed seeing that different side of him for a change. He obviously has the ability to go from silly to serious in 5 seconds flat!

Apolo is really cute in most of him pictures, but in interviews sometimes he comes across a beiing a total dork, nerd, goofball. He makes some horrible faces and gesture at imappropriate time whiich lead me to feel he is very immature as far as socially, maybe because of all the years being hidden away with training and only emerging to skate. anyway the G... rumor still persists, and I wish somehow or other it would be put put to rest, no matter which way it goes. Sorry folks, I am the one who posted this. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE , LOVE Apolo and think he is stunning, and wonderful, but sometimes we have thoughts and feeling about someone, no matter how we much we love them. The G thing is very, very upsetting to me and I am not prejudiced, I just want him to find a woman to love, and frankly pass on those fabulous genes!! I guesss I am just looking to someone for validation and maybe some kind of real proof that it is not true.

You know, ALL famous men face the g-- rumor. I don't hear it about Apolo THAT often, only once in awhile...definitely not as much as Clay Aiken or even Justin Timberlake. Although rumors do come with fame, I wish it would be put to rest...he has made it obvious what his orientation is and that is that. I would be fine if he was homosexual or bisexual and I would love him the same. It's simply the matter of fact that he's not; so people should leave it alone.

I know that you mention that you want him to find a woman to love, but if he was gay, he could achieve that same happiness finding a man to love. As for spreading the genes, well, there are artificial ways of passing on your genes...all you need is a willing surrogate. That probably wouldn't be to hard to do.
