Does Apolo have a girlfriend?

There has been some debate on the Apolo chatter about whether or not Apolo has a girlfriend. True, Cosmo does say that he is single, but recent reports say that he is dating fellow short track skater Alison Baver. I'm still looking for details about when they started dating, etc. but I'm assuming it is fairly recent.

Who was it that he hugged after winning the Gold in the 500m? I thought maybe it was her, although I couldn't really tell.

Looking at the video, I know for sure she's not his girlfriend. She looked asian and older. Hmm you know, I think Alison being Apolo's girlfriend might be just for attention for Alison during the Olympics. I might be wrong.

Well when i turned on the olympics one of the days the women's short track was going on, i'm almost positive that the anouncers said one of the skaters was his girlfriend. I can't remember the name but alison might ring a bell.

You got it! Huggin' the coach, and Allison is his gf. Has been for some years, now. He's not tried to hide it, and I think that's great. So often, young and famous boys have to act single to keep their fans, and I think that's just silly. Cosmo might be reporting him as single, as in "not married", but he openly admits he's seeing her. That's gotta make training alongside her easier and the relationship stronger. Having to negate that you're in love must suck. I actually felt bad for her during the Games, because it seemed like any time they interviewed her, it was to ask about him. She's an accomplished athlete in her own right, and I'd like to see her get the attention due her for what she's done, not for who she's dating.

Yeah, i think allison is a great athlete. I felt kind bad for her too cuz they'd always mention "her boyfriend" and how she fell like him and etc. etc. etc. I went to her forums and they deleted all of the posts but people were posting mean things about her, calling her names and stuff just because she's with Apolo.

I mean cut the girl a break! Man, I'm applauding her. She's a great athlete and she's got a great man by her side! Why be pestered about it you know?

if they are happy, then they should have all our blessings (every single rabid-apolo-loving-n-allison-haters)!! well, they have mine :-D does it really matter if he's single or taken? would you stop oggling his pictures? or rooting for him?

personally, i think either they are not that serious (because there's conflicting data... nothing is neither confirmed or denied) or they are just good friends

actually, i think being labeled as apolo's girlfriend might have hurted her, i heard there are some nutso that have bombarded her website's forum, leaving mean notes and saying they dont belong. how awful!
