It's not in the autobiography and he has never mentioned it. Plus Apolo is half/white and Japanese. One website I visted listed Apolo as his mother being Italian (Italian American) and of course we know that Yuki, his dad is Japanese born from Toyko. |

Yes, Cal is right. I have seen the name Jerrie Lee listed as Apolo's Mom two or three times when I googled his name.

Exactly! Spike does have the last name Lee.
And yes, I found her name, Jerrie Lee. But she's white, and Apolo has said she white, and we know that she's white. So mute point.
But Answers.com has him listed as Italian/Japanese...because of his mother....so maybe she is Italian-American, but she is definetely not Asian.

Oh, thanks. I just wanted to point that out, not step on anybody toes. I mean one reason why we don't know that much about her is because of Apolo...when he speaks more about her, then we will know more about her, but until then, mute point. |

Hmm...well he wears white and grey bandanas also...proof:  C'mon he's an athlete....i don't think matching his outfits is on his mind when he's in season and traning and what not! But...his choice of clothes and dressing is fine, with me! I think we're all entitled to a bad day!LOL |

I can't believe that he wears those bandanas. You can't even enter the Mall where I live if you are flashing. If I said, "But I am wearing this red bandana to match my red shirt, I would be kicked out. I don't buy it at all. Can't he tie something else around his head? Tied dyed or something? I saw that he said it's because he sweats and he matches his outfits. I have only seen him in RED or BLUE bandanas. I mean how about WHITE? White is the neutral sign. I really think he is awesome but question his ties. (and not just the ones around his head) What are you trying to say Yanale??? And BTW, welcome!  But really, what are you trying to say??? |
