I've notive while reading through some of the threads (past ones) that some people prefer Apolo with the soul patch and others don't, so what's you thought on it.
I like it. I'd like him with it or without it. I read somewhere on some website that someone posted that he "needs to shave it off because it looks like a woman's crotch", and I did think it was funny but I don't think it looks like that. And post your favorite pictures of him with his soul patch at its best.

Ya know, I don't care one way or another. I've gotten used to it...and it seems, as Callie said, to be a part of him...but I wouldn't be shocked or anything if he decided to shave it off. He'll still be just as beautiful!  |

Someone, somewhere, posted a pic of Apolo photoshopped to be clean shaven--Billiey, I'm pretty sure. After seeing it, I have to say I prefer the soul patch on Apolo... which is really odd for me, since I'm not usually a big fan of facial hair on guys. But Apolo's face just seems...empty...without it. If he ever decided to shave it, I'm sure I'd get used to it's absence, but until them, I'm just as attached to Apolo's soul patch as he is (not literally, of course!). I agree with luv--it's his trademark. Just look at that ridiculous hairy monstrosity somebody posted on eBay. People associate him with the soul patch, and vice versa. I'm sure you all remember all the people after his first Olympics who stuck something similiar on their chins to imitate them. They still do it, actually (think Ellen). lol. It's one of the ways Apolo fans stick out in a crowd. Obviously, it's the reason for the tagline to my website's title: "Where's your soul patch?"  hehehe. It doesn't matter either way to me, but I am so used to the soul patch that I don't even realize that it's there because it's so a part of him.  |

I think we had something like this last year...didn't we?...yeah that picture too...I think most of us prefer an apolo w/facial hair :soul patch:...I do...some guys look hot w/facial hair...Hint: AAO!...i think that's what identifies him...the guy w/the soul patch...that's what got people when he first started off in the Olympics...(and the bandanas)...but I think he said in Conan that people knew him because of his soul patch...so yeah...hope he never shaves it!...i would....i would...cry!  then we'll just wait for it grow back! |
