Thanks for posting the short track schedule, Lindsey. Does anyone know for sure which events Apolo will be at yet? I am interested to know about the ones in the US. If I know soon enough before hand, I am really going to try to go to at least one.

I would imagine he's competing in all the World Cups... For now, the only one he's announced (or it has been announced) he'll be at is, the first one listed, in Midland. That's a qualifier for the World Cups, so I'm guessing if he qualifies (of course he will!) he'll attend the subsequent World Cups...
I believe (correct me, someone, if I'm wrong) that Apolo competed in all the World Cups in 2005, as qualifiers for the Olympics, but didn't in 2006...
I can't tell you how excited I am about seeing Apolo back on the ice!!! It seems FAR too long ago. Lisam, I have no idea if these things will be aired or not (*praying*). I'm hoping ABC/ESPN will jump at the chance to at least show some of them, especially after DWTS. Please tell me it would have more of an audience than cheerleading championships and billiards (not that I have anything against either of those...sports).

I hope at least ESPN airs some of these competitons, I see figure skating on there a lot. I would love to go to SLC for one but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to go unless I won the lottery or something, I can't afford to travel at this time. But its fun to fantasize about it. LOL How much are the tickets usually for these events?

I hope at least ESPN airs some of these competitons, I see figure skating on there a lot. Don't hold your breath. Who knows, maybe Apolo's popular enought to sway ESPN to show it late night or something, or even put it on ESPN 2. The closest you'll get to seeing it is if they air it in Canada or China...

Saw this training schedule posted at a ShaniDavis.org--I have no idea who are what it is exactly for, but I saw some stuff listed as short track, and--I love this--some exercises listed as Apolo Jumps. shanidavis.org/2007_mens_training.xls

And Tyn, I was also planning a trip to NY around Thanksgiving and thinking about pushing it up a bit to go see Apolo. I don't know how they determine who skates in which world cup (must research) but it's my goal to see him skate live this season - hopefully sitting next to a contingent of GotApolo ladies and cheering him on to victory!
