He had the 2nd highest score of the night, 26 out of 30. But when you add the two weeks together, he had a combined score of 47, putting him in third. Laila had a combined score of 50 and Joey had a combined score of 48.

I don't know if I or anyone else mentioned it last week, but if you want to give all 11 votes per phone line to Apolo and you get a message telling you you've reached your limit before you really have, keep trying and you should eventually be able to place all your votes. Once again Apolo did an excellent job -- even better than last week! He looked amazing and seemed very confident! He doesn't like ties very much, does he? I've noticed that he likes to take them off as soon as he can at different events, and he did that tonight after his dance. I thought that was funny and so "him." I also notice that he and Julianne are strongly emphasizing the "we're like brother and sister" thing, both on the show as well as in at least one other interview I saw with them today on TV. I think that's a good idea. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's results show.

Forgot to mention that for all of those who missed Apolo's dance tonight, they probably will show it tommorrow at 7PM (central) during the recap show. And then the results show is after that. At this point, I don't know who will get the boot. Sometimes the judges give these scores and you think you couple has a good shot of staying and then the at-home audience has a totally different idea So let's hope that the at-home viewers liked Apolo enough to keep him. And know him enough to keep him. Because Billy Ray stepped up tonight And did you guys see Miley aka Hannah Montana, stepping in the studio to support her daddy. Awww

Hey Crims, I totally agree that BRC stepped it up tonight, but I don't think he will be the first to leave because of his fan base will keep him in. That is how Jerry Springer stayed in the show for a bit even if he was not the best dancer. I just hope enough of the people liked how Apolo did to vote for him. The judges' score counts for only half, and the other half is the audience vote. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Apolo got enough votes. I voted a total of 33 times last Monday and 33 times tonight.

Apolo & Julianne did so well in their quickstep last night...loved it! whoo hooo!
I too, noticed that Apolo took off that pink tie, haha that's great (wasn't too fond it of either).
I'm sure Apolianne won't get voted off tonight.

Ohmigod Ohmigod! There's a forehead under that bandana!!! Hahahahahaha! JK.
Elle - I knew you'd find your way back - definitely check out ohnozone and the DWTS website for video clips. Our boy looks pretty darn good out there. And he's smokin' most everyone.
I'll take a pink tie any day over his sequined initials sewed onto the tails of his tux like Joey Fatone!
Seems like Apolo wore a pink tie one year to the oscars with a grey suit. I think the combo looks good on him. And epiphanii, you are so right about the ties - he takes 'em off first chance he gets. My husband is the same way. I wish we girls could get away with stuff like that - can you imagine? I'm done dancing now, so let me just take these panty hose off... ahhhhhhh sweet relief!
I loved when he said "I'm really whimpy in my upper body". I'd like to see him arm wrestle Laila. She's his biggest competition. I think it's gonna come down to the two of them.

Hahahaha - the ballroom dance world can only take so much hillbilly, huh, Heather? His kids sure were cute routing for their Pop, though.
Cute siggy!
Speaking of kids, I came home late last night so my husband the taped the show for me. My 5 year old was still up when the show came on so he got to see Apolo dance. By the time I got home, my son was in bed, but this morning, he said to me. "Mama, I saw Apolo on TV last night, and he was wearing a gentleman's suit!" LOL!

Apolo stays!! Apolo stays!!! ;D I mean to be honest, because there are so many couples right now, at least two weak couples are gonna slip through. Like for example, Leeza and BRC. Shandi's days are numbered too. And Shandi's partner looks give me the creeps

Well since he dance a ballroom dance this week, most like it's Latin again next week, so I think he might be doing the Tango. I think that's how it goes

Whatever Apolo dances next week, I think he will do just fine. At least he doesn't count as he dances like BRC does. While watching the recap show, I saw BRC counting, and that is one of my pet peeves. Whether it's watching DWTS or a dance team competition on ESPN, if I see a person counting it irks me. You should never show the public that you are not sure of the dance count or steps. That should all be done in your head while performing a dance.
