my mom is a crazy ballroom dancing fan and told me today that the female dancers are not all really tall..so maybe he will get a good fit.

I'm sure they do. It is a TV show after all & having her tower over him would just look ridiculous!! Joey McIntyre & Joey Lawrence are both relatively small guys too, and they looked fine.

Yes, it's true that many female ballroom dancers are of average height (for women) or petite. I also read somewhere that that is true of several of the female pros on DWTS. So our guy should be okay.  |

I'm still iffy about this while thing...maybe once I actually see Apolo dance, maybe I'll change my mind lol.

Since he is doing the show, I hope he does well. The nightly news in my town had a poll tonight asking who is going to win DWTS, and Apolo was in second place already. ;D First place went to Ian and Cheryl Burke.

Julianne is very petite -- a mere slip of a girl. Depending on what size heel she chooses, Apolo should still have an inch or two on her. I was glad to see that she is so light in weight, since it will make doing lifts a lot easier on him.
