Source: www.followapolo.com/posts/56?fbid=hlZkTIpTi0u After the winter we've had, I can't begrudge any of these winners getting a trip to Hawaii (as opposed to- well... say me...LOL) Chicago, known for bone chillingly cold icy winds coming off the lake Washington known for endless, drizzly, I'm gonna commit suicide if the sun doesn't finally decide to peek out within my current lifetime skies... Indiana I've never been there, but if it's anything like a Missouri (or as my parents called it 'Misery') winter- humid and freezing all at the same time- and flat, so you can't even downhill ski to justify suffering through the weather. Idaho - Rockies = Jeremiah Johnson territory. Lots of snow and cold winters... ...but at least you can ski...  Alaska which = the sun barely rises over the horizon for a few hours all winter long. You know you're in trouble when the postcard in the airport says: ALASKA WEATHER:Inland Passage- Clear to partly sh*tty Anchorage- Intermittently sh*tty Aleutians - Always sh*tty Prudhoe Bay - UNBELIEVABLY Sh*tty... I'm not sure what these folks are enjoying more. A chance to hang with Apolo, or warm and sunny weather!  Congrats to all. (ya know it just wouldn't be fair if someone from somewhere like New Mexico won! LOL) |
