This is a story I've had written since the 2006 Olympics, but I just found it on my parents old computer! I've had to rewrite some of it and I plan on expanding/finishing it! Hope you like it!

Intro
June 15th, 2007
Salt Lake City, Utah
"What did he say?" Nicole asked looking over my shoulder from the seat beside me; "Are you going to do it?"
I sighed and reread the text message; "Yeah he said the next time I'm in LA to call him so we can get together and talk about it"
Nicole gave me a look; "I don't know if that' s a good idea"
The entire time I've known Nicole she's never been afraid to tell me exactly what she was thinking; "I know but...I can't say no to something like this you know?"
"I know" she agreed; "You just love to work" she teased then looked down at her cell phone; "I miss Daniel"
"You'll see him a few days, don't worry"
"I know. He gets lost without me, I don't like to leave him home by himself"
I rolled my eyes and turned to Erica who sat in the limo quietly looking out the window at the passing lights; "You alright over there?"
"I'm good" she replied without looking at me; "Just tired"
Nicole and I exchanged glances and read each other's minds. It's always felt like this when we were together - two against one. The three of us have known each other since Jr. High but the past few years have been rough and we've drifted part. The three of us don't work together much anymore, let alone hang out and whenever we do it's awkward and uncomfortable. It's hard to imagine that a few years ago it was the complete opposite - we spent, literally, everyday together for three years. We did everything together but all of that time spent together changed us.
It changed our dynamic
It changed our friendship
It changed our lives....
