There's more up on the site now. Like the price...... $150 for a month's supply...includes all 3 zones, of course, because you need to take them all. Holy mackeral... One thing about Apolo...he goes top drawer all the way. His bio is up now, as well, with a big play for John Schaeffer. One question or observation I would have is this: Who is the target audience? At $150/month, it's not most people. If you are an athlete or someone doing lots of excercise on a daily basis, you might already be spending mega bucks on supplements of a wide range, so transferring some of these costs over to 8zone at $150 month might not seem like much. But is this for most of us? The message is not clear. And if it is for ANYBODY...I don't that the needs of an elite athlete are the same as for someone who sits at a desk all day and tries to get in 30 minutes of exercise, 5 days a week. I, too, noticed the lack of diversity and was surprised, given the product owner. But wait, there is a light at the end of the tunnel...the cost is not $150/month...it's $149.99 a month. Now THAT I can afford!

Well, it's not for this schoolteacher, but good luck to him with that! I seem to remember Apolo saying that he was targeting elite and professional athletes, and those who aspire to that level. I'm sure that well-to-do professionals who say, run marathons or engage in similar acitivities might find it of interest as well. I think that it will have only a limited appeal for the general public due to the cost.

(yeah, that penny makes all the difference in the world don't it!) Now if those supplements could make us desk jockeys who struggle to fit an hour of excercise into our day work as if we spent half the day working out, it might be something we'd all FIND a way to afford!

Actually there is no stipulations on trying 8 Zone for free. I had many questions about 8 Zone that wasn't answered. So while at the commercial shoot in SLC, I had the (once in a lifetime) to talk to Apolo. I wanted to know if he took them, what the absorption amount was...ect. In speaking with Apolo and Apolo's manager it because increasingly clear that Apolo truly believes in 8 Zone, he takes them himself (I found out that information in a round about way, as I knew if I just asked he would say he was) and that 8 Zone company was his new "baby".
Apolo said that he himself absorbs about 85%! That is QUITE a lot in the vitamin world! (Centrum you absorb less than 2%) Now taking into account how clean he eats and his overall care of his body, I am going to assume that the average Joe absorbs about 10% less than that! Which is still significant!
Anyways, after being on 8 Zone for over a month all I have to say is: You have GOT to try this!!! If you don't notice a difference within the two weeks, then perhaps you should just send them back! I would almost guarantee that you will notice the difference within the first week!
The ironic part of this whole thing, is that while I am a huge Speed Skating fan I had no idea that 8 Zone was made and promoted by Apolo (That's what I get for being out of the loop for so long)! I was referred to 8 Zone by an acquaintance and in my research of the product I came across the fact that it was endorsed by an Olympian (I was looking into it the end of Feb). I checked out the ingredients and claims. I have been off and on high end supplements for a long time, but due to the fact that they all made me throw up (no matter what time of day I took them or what I ate them with) I was in search of a new supplement. Something that would encompass more than just vitamins. I wanted to get off a few other supplements I was on (namely B12 shots)!
Anyway...sorry this is going so long. Long story cut short, I bought it, I tried it, I LOVE IT! I am ordering it for my husband and can't wait until it is made available for children (which Apolo hinted that they were making).
I have tried MANY MANY supplements (most costing TWICE what 8 Zone costs) and I have NEVER had such immediate and noticeable results! An answer to a prayer! Alright, I know it sounds cheesy, but 8 Zone has TRULY made a difference! If you think about it the $160 (with shipping) is only $5 a day! For that I am willing to cut out the lunch trips and the latte's at starbucks for better health and SLEEP!!!!!
Sorry, I will stop blabbing about this...just try it, it may just change your life!

Okay Lez, what do you mean by results? Compared to B4 8 Zone and after 8 Zone. Would you further explain no stipulation on the "free" offer?

OK, I bite. What's in 8 Zone? What were your symptoms before taking 8 Zone? What were the specific quantifiable changes you noticed after taking 8 Zone? How is 8 Zone different from basic vitamin supplements? I'm concerned because so many people today think that you can take a pill as a substitute for healthy eating. A single vitamin can't replicate the many complex interactions in plants. In fact, recent research suggests that food scientists don't know exactly what is in those plants...only that there are thousand of molecules and their interactions are not fully understood. This is the cover story on this month's "Reader's Digest" that tome of the masses. They conclude that vitamins are much overrated. Yup, I've been reading RD for decades and have found a lot invaluable information on all sorts of things. The vitamin story caught my eye because I take GNC's women's ultra mega multivitamin...and I eat a lot of colored vegetables with my dark chocolate! : )

Sorry, didn't mean to hit and run! I headed out of town this morning, so I haven't been on the computer!
Okay, the results I have had require a bit of a background for me and my health. I have been pretty healthy over all, I could stand to lose a few lbs and I eat pretty clean, but I do also enjoy a treat now and then. I have always tried to fill in my diet with a good nutritional supplement that I would actually absorb most of it, and not 1-2% of it. In the last year I had developed some weird symptoms. My hands and feet would hurt, and the doctors did test after test after test. Well, in my own deduction, and process of elimination I figured the culprit was my workouts. I was building up lactic acid in my muscles and they weren't releasing it properly. My doctors said that since it isn't debilitating, then I better get used to it! That wasn't good enough for me. So that is when I went on the hunt for a good nutritional supplement that would cover all my bases!
That is when I was recommended 8 Zone. I had never heard of it and I was a skeptic of a fairly brand new product!

Thought I would break up the posts as this could get long. I take my health seriously so I am including a lot of the information I found on the 8 Zone ingredients.
Okay, so when I started researching 8 Zone (I still had no idea who was fronting it) I delved into the ingredients. The supplements I was currently taking were not reacting well with my body. I had to stop taking many different brands because they made me ill.
Now Sk8er brought up a VERY valid point regarding supplements. You can't live a crappy lifestyle and expect a supplement to fix everything...it won't! I treat my supplements like Caulking...It just fills in the cracks of my healthy eating. I try to eat clean, but I do enjoy a treat now and again!!! LOL! So if you think taking 8 Zone is going to be the end all...uh...nope! You still have to make healthy choices and workout! It is what it is, there are no wonder pills for that!

Red Zone:
Vitamin A can be beneficial in promoting healthy skin and hair. There are high levels in 8 Zone, some argue too much. PureWay-C is a patented form of Vitamin C that is more rapidly absorbed by cells than normal forms of Vitamin C. PureWay-C helps promote quick wound healing and a stronger immune system. Vitamin D3: A vitamin D3 deficiency can lead to obesity, type 2 diabetes, depression and high blood pressure, among other diseases. Vitamin D3 plays a role in controlling the immune system and increasing neuromuscular function and it may even help reduce pain. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that stops the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) formed when fat undergoes oxidation and may also help prevent or delay the chronic diseases associated with free radicals. Thiamin (Vitamin B1) helps the body cells convert carbohydrates into energy. It is also essential for the functioning of the heart, muscles, and nervous system. Riboflavin Vitamin B2, or Riboflavin, is required for the metabolism of fats, carbohydrates and proteins. Vitamin B2 helps convert carbohydrates into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a compound needed to store energy in muscles and helps rid the body of free radicals. Niacin is Effective in Treating or Reversing: High Cholesterol, Heart Disease, Insulin-Dependant Diabetes, Migraines, and Arthritis. Vitamin B6 helps the immune system produce antibodies which help fight off many diseases. It also helps break down proteins, the more protein you eat, the more vitamin B6 you need. Folate or folic acid, is a B vitamin that is found in dark green leafy vegetables, dried beans and certain fruits such as oranges. Folate plays an essential role in making new body cells by helping to produce DNA and RNA, the cells master plan for cell reproduction. Folate also helps lower the risk of delivering a baby with neural tube defects such as spina bifida and may help protect against heart disease. Vitamin B12 is unique because it can be stored in the liver for years. It helps in the formation of red blood cells and in the maintenance of the central nervous system. B12 plays a vital role for a healthy metabolism Biotin is also known as vitamin H. I t is a necessary vitamin for the health and growth of your body. It helps convert fatty acids and glucose into energy. if you tend to feel run down you may be lacking this vitamin. Pantothenic Acid or Vitamin B5, or Pantothenic Acid, works with other B Complex Vitamins to help metabolize Fats and produce Red Blood Cells and excrete hormones, like Cortisol from the Adrenal Gland Iodine is an essential element that enables the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormone Zinc plays important roles in growth and development, the immune response, neurological function, and reproduction Selenium helps guard cells against free radical damage and also contributes to healthy functioning of both the immune system and the thyroid gland for optimal weight-loss Manganese helps your body utilize several nutrients such as Thiamin, Asorbic Acid, Choline and Biotin. Manganese helps convert protein and fat into energy. It is also key in keeping your bones healthy and strong Chromium Polynicotinate enhances carbohydrate and fat metabolism for more effective weight management. Clinical evidence reveals that chromium Polynicotinate may help fight cravings for carbohydrates. Molybdenum is an important factor for effectively metabolizing carbohydrates and utilizing iron within the body. Potassium is needed for several functions of your body, especially the beating of your heart. Potassium citrate is used to treat a kidney stone condition called renal tubular acidosis.
8 Zone Energizer Proprietary Blend: Rhodiola Rosea Extract has been shown effective in improving mood and alleviating depression. Panax Ginseng Root Extract Ginsenosides is more stimulating and raises body temperature while American ginseng is less heating and stimulating Licorice Root Extract Glycyrrhizic Acid is probably the most over looked herb. It has anti-depressant capabilities and also prevents the breakdown of cortisol (the stress fighting hormone) Green Tea Leaf Extract increases the metabolism and the rate in which we burn fat while decreasing appetite leading to a significant amout of weight loss. Bitter Orange Fruit Extract gives you a smooth flow of energy without the jitters while also increasing your metabolic rate. Bitter Orange burns fat without bothering other receptors that over-stimulate your heart rate and blood pressure Maca Root may increase stamina, endurance, and mental concentration. Choline Bitartrate may aid in the metabolism of fat. Inositol Hexaphosphate is composed of dietary fibers that are believed to be rich in antioxidants that support immune and cardiovascular health. Boron Citrate activates Vitamin D and estrogen to help prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis. It is also believed to help improve memory loss. Too much boron may cause nausea, diarrhea and stomach cramps.
Phew...and that is just in the Red Zone!!!
