Apolo may well have just been playing with his fans also. But, he did stay in Philly for a week and led people to believe he had nothing to do. He did meet with John, he did speak at a school or maybe two, he said he went to viist friends north of Philly and then he just hung around doing nothing. Of course no one knows what he was really doing but he had to have a reason for staying there. He would have went home or to a beach if he just wanted to relax. It was just strange but he may well have just been having a laugh on us....lol. I would not have noticed probably except he was so close by me, I kept thinking, "Apolo is 1/2 hour drive away". I kept expecting him to be on a plane the next morning and he was still there.

everyone needs some down time, I guess.  personally i didnt think it was that strange, but that's just IMO *shrug* it's his business, after all gosh, if he was a half-hour drive away from me i'd be calling up a friend for a road trip, LOL!  Just a thought, even tho it's kinda OT! His tweets are so insightful. Love it  |

Maybe he was feeling a little sick, maybe just tired, maybe he just decided to visit many of the friends he's made in the Philly area..(after all he did date Allison and I'm sure he spent time there and got to know quite a few people that he still connects with), maybe he just wanted to spend more time with the man he credits with helping him to perform well at the Olympics, so many maybes ... Apolo is definitely entitled to enjoy a few days off to just chill with friends. I belief he stayed in Philly because he was there for work..decided to relax with friends a little and didn't have enough down time to make a trip to the beach for any good period of time. JMHO

Reading his twitter feed makes me sleepy lol. I don't know how he does it! I wouldn't worry too much about Allison. He doesn't even follow her or make any mention of her from what I see. I'm so jealous though. He got to meet the President, First Lady and Speaker Pelosi the other day! AND he got some White House M&Ms!  Anyone else besides me think he and Shani looked especially gorgeous during their visit?  |

First of all, welcome to GA Kaydeelex and all other new members.  Enjoy ur time spent here. ;D Secondly, I agree that he and Shani looked gorgeous during their visit. Loved Shani exercising with kids and First Lady at the elementary school. |

I just wish Apolo would finally spill the beans on what he is doing next. He keeps saying, exciting things to come....so what is it? LOL! Personally I hope he doesn't do movies, but it seems that is what he wants to do...so good for him!

I agree with you Leigul about him not doing movies. I don't know what it is about it, I guess because he has such a great reputation, he's classy with great morals and Hollywood just seems kind of scummy to me. I wouldn't mind a Travel Channel show or even a Food Network show. That would be fun and he could be himself and could continue to show the world what a great guy he is. If he does head to movies, I'm sure he will be great. I'm sure if he wants my advice he will ask, lol.

I agree also about not wanting him to go to hollywood. I don't like the lifestyle but that part is just IMO. The main thing about him in the movies is, we all love, admire and find most interesting, the "real Apolo". I honestly think most of us would find it very disappointing to see him in a moive where we would be going to see "Apolo" and with him playing a different role, it would not be him. If he was good at what he was doing and i am sure he would be, he would be a different character that just looked like Apolo. I just would not enjoy seeing him being any thing but who he is right now. I personally would only enjoy Apolo playing Apolo in a a real life story of "Apolo". I think he would do very well on a talk show where his personality would come thru or a travel or cooking show, any thing where he could remain Apolo.

Half my family is in the business. I know how horrid it can be. I would hate to see Apolo get into something that encourages you to be someone else. There are plenty of stars who keep to good habits but idk. I'd hate to even think of Apolo losing himself in all of that.

I agree with all of the above! I hope he stays away from Hollywood, but I am anticipating a new book...or anything with the health and fitness, as I am fascinated by all of that!
Goaao ~ LOVE the idea of him on the travel channel or even the food network! It would be awesomesauce! LOL!

Oprah's new network starts next year and I think she is still trying to get shows together for it. Apolo teaming up with Oprah, that would be awesomesauce!!!
