Not related to anything, really

Just felt like expressing, I guess, so here's what's on my mind.
Ookay, I live with my sister & her family, have for over four years now. It's gotten to where I refer to her and her husband as "Mom and Dad", and the kids are more like siblings to me than just nieces. If it weren't for her, I'd still live with my mother (loong story) and i'd probably be ...a total mess, I guess.
Anyway, over the weekend she got sick (we think it was a reaction to some medicine, but i'm not 100% sure) enough that Dad ended up taking her to the hospital. I'm hoping/praying she gets better soon.

I'm sorry to hear that Mars. It's never easy when a family member is sick. My brother has problems with a couple of things. And I worry over him a lot. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully she'll get better, and soon.

she's gonna need extra help around the house until she recovers completely.

definitely, and that's not much of a big deal. helping around the house is one of my strong points, plus with all of the kids, we should be good there.
And to update: she's out of the hospital now, doctor said something about sinus trouble. Now we're all anticipating her recovery. Everything's starting to feel normal again, slowly but surely.
