One of these weeks I'll get back to short-track photos.
But, for now, I'm working on Special Olympics photos and David A. concert photos

Yes , wags I hope you're okay, too, and no where near tornado alley. Thanks for all the well wishes guys. And, yes, I'm smack in the middle of Tornado Alley. They were all around us today. I had two different friends send me pictures of two different tornadoes they took from their phones this afternoon. But when you've been here all your life, you don't really pay any attention to it. If you hear something that sounds like a train coming through, you open a window on the south side of the house and go find a low place to wait it out. Now, 2 inches of snow....that's scary!!! |

...mmmm, which would I prefer to contend with? tornadoes that can blow you, your house, and your car to Kansas? ...or two inches of snow that isn't even enough to sled on?....  ....gee, whichever shall I choose ?....LOL  But I'm glad you're OK Wags! (and I do realize that even two inches of snow in an area that doesn't usually get much can completely bring a city to its knees.) |

Wags, I'm glad you're still grounded and haven't found yourself on the yellow brick road! Since I am originally from the Chicago area, I have had my share of heading to the basement during tornadoes. Also the thrill of many feet of snow, bitter cold and oh so humid summers! So, what do I do....I move to Arizona with the record heat in the summer!  LOL! However, AZ is great the rest of the year! Vienna is beautiful city too! See, now we are back on track for this thread! LOL!  |
