NBC irritates me at the moment. They aired most of the trials for Beijing, yet when it comes to ST...*sigh* Anyway. Congrats, Apolo! =)

sports.espn.go.com/oly/news/story?id=4468202U.S. skater Celski leaves on stretcherComment Email Print Share Associated Press MARQUETTE, Mich. -- J.R. Celski has been injured in a crash at the U.S. short track speedskating championships. Celski fell in his 500-meter semifinal heat Saturday at the hockey rink on the Northern Michigan University campus. He hit the boards and one of his skate blades appeared to cut his left leg, spilling blood on the ice. The race was stopped as emergency personnel rushed onto the ice. Celski was tended to for several minutes before being removed on a stretcher and taken to a hospital. The 19-year-old skater from Federal Way, Wash., was second in the overall points standings and has all but locked up a spot on the Olympic team for Vancouver. Celski was the second skater taken off by stretcher Saturday. Maria Garcia, a 2006 Olympian from Carson, Calif., crashed into the boards in her 500 semifinal heat.
