Lick your wounds, take a break -  take time to contemplate  shed a few tears -  and then stare down your fears.  Hang on!  Hang tough!  ...dont take any guff!!!  Let your dreams and spirit soar - ...your body will catch up.  Be clever -  Be fierce!  The sun rays one day will pierce the clouds of disappointment this day-  at your feet victory will lay. Allison, I was heartbroken to hear of your injury. You have conguered so many hurdles the last few years in pursuit of your goal, it doesn't seem fair that you must conguer yet one more. I concur with everything said above, Allison! You're a 'warrior' - the veteran anchor of our ladies' team, and we have all the faith in the world that you will triumphantly return to that position next season.

Allison, I'm so sad to hear about your injury. Wishing you a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. I met your mother @ WC1 in Salt Lake City. I can't imagine what she's going through right now. Well wishes for you and your family. I want to see you race again soon and stand on that podium where you belong.
