Way to go Katherine and Kimberly. Hope we get to see that race somewhere online. NBC Universal has it listed as an 'on demand' video - it probably won't be available until next weekend. But at least we'll get to see it!

Way to go team!!!! I'm just loving watching JR take over. And did we get the final word on how many of our girls medaled??? And Anthony! He almost didn't make the team. How cool is that to come in at the last minute and take gold!
YAY! ;D ;D ;D ;D

What's the tally on DQs now?!?! Not complaining at all when those calls are going our way. I don't think I've seen a meet where Koreans have gotten as many DQs---granted, I don't think I have seen this many DQs in general.

Whoa...it's taking awhile for the Mens B Final to come up too.... *crossing fingers*.... Men's relay B FinalPlace Start Pos. Relay Team ISU Member Results Qual. 1 3 UNITED STATES
BEDFORD Ryan JAYNER Travis LOBELLO Anthony SIMON Jeff USA 6:46.486 2 4 GREAT BRITAIN DOUGLAS Anthony ELEY Jon STANLEY Paul WORTH Paul GBR 6:50.137 DQ 1 ITALY CONFORTOLA Yuri RINALDI Claudio RODIGARI Nicola SERRA Roberto ITA DQ DQ 2 NETHERLANDS BREEUWSMA Daan KERSTHOLT Niels KNEGT Sjinkie KOEK Rudy NED DQ and JR wasn't even in the mix. They guys still gave it their all even though it was a B Final. As for the DQ's and the medals...I don't think it works that way if the A Final folks are deeked....at least it didn't work that way at Junior Worlds, when our gals could have made the podium because of the same situation. There were only two teams on the podium. Go Figure.... We'll have to ask Justsayin about the total DQ tally 'cause she was keepin' track (and we only saw the main event DQ's here, I didn't even post the majority of the repechage rounds- who knows how many were in those?) .... craaaaaaaazy though.

How cool is that to come in at the last minute and take gold! YAY! ;D ;D ;D ;D I agree! I'm sure it was such a vindication for him to not only make the podium, but get a Gold to boot! He's been such a strong skater this year, USC was such a disappointment I'm sure. He really does belong on these WC teams. And on that note, here's the final. ( I was thinking wouldn't it be hilarious if the refs ended WC6 with a bang and DQ'd the whole A final lineup- LOL ....but noo such luck!) in fact, not a one! (they must have met their quota...) There were only two teams on the podium. Go Figure.... What?!?! Darn, I always thought the team(s)/skater(s) from the B final moved up if there were DQs in the A final I guess that may kinda sorta make sense though that they wouldn't. Edited: Ok, the more I think about it the more it does make sense that the B final person would NOT move up----don't mind me.

What a fantastic medal haul for Team USA! ;D
Legendary Canadian skater Eric Bedard (who is now coaching for Germany) lives in Dresden. It should be a fun banquet/celebration for all of them tonight.
