Hooray... it looks like I signed on just in time to see Apolo win his heat! Here's hoping we actually see him take an individual event this time out... no jinxes!!!

Hey, Lori... hey, Mtnme... hey, everybody! kind of bad of me, but do not mind seeing the Koreans DQ now and then... hee hee... but, remember from my Navy days (was stationed in Japan for 4 yrs) how little love the Japanese and Koreans have for each other... ditto w/ the Chinese... they considered themselves the only "civilized" ones over there - and everybody else unwashed, country cousins... should be an interesting meet!

Hi all, just joining in. Saw the early speculation about the women skaters. I checked under "Entries" and only 4 US women are listed, Baver, Derrick, Reutter and Dudeck. Looks like Maria Garcia and Lana Gehring arent skating this meet. Wonder why??

Huh? out 2 skaters... they can't afford to have anyone else out, they woudn't be able to do the relay.

Wang went from 4th to 1st---no wonder she's described by many as the female Apolo!
