Don't know the name John Coyle, but he does have some speedskating background and interesting blogs, especially in Torino.

I LOVE this - so brilliant and hysterical at the same time!

Yeah, Apolo is just so annoyingly humble, straight-up, low key, hyper-focused, serene, dedicated, a superior role model, perfect ambassador for the sport and so nice to his fans to boot -- so consequently doesn't tend to drum up negative press and publicity... (but that's why we love him!!!).

John Coyle is so friggin' funny - love his blog. So cool that he is a former speed skater himself and obviously still loves the sport and how it has affected his life. I love the way he writes/thinks.
