Well, It's that time again - we're introducing our next Skater of the Month for October Jonathan SermenoI had the pleasure of not only seeing Jonathan skate this last weekend at American Cup 1, but I met him as well. Sweet natured and a bit shy, Jonathan definitely had us cheering in the stands. He is one of the up and coming skaters from Southern California. He had some tough competition with the majority of the National Team there, but he managed to keep up with the 'Big Dogs' for most of the races. I'm sure we'll be seeing much more of Jonathan at Nationals with some help from all of you!

Jonathan is my godmother's friend's grandson? LOL. I don't exactly remember the relationship - but my godmother knows about him and he goes to our church. We've talked about him a couple times.
I've never met him, but I hope he does well this season. ;D

Jonathan, we'll be following your progress during the rest of the season - 'best of luck to you! Let's 'step up' for him, y'all!

Here's another picture of Jonathan. Let's not forget all about him in the middle of our ST planning frenzy. He could really use your help.

Don't Forget, Jon's turn as skater of the month ends tomorrow, and with all our travels and excitement over WC1 and WC2 and our National Team Members, please don't forget about the skaters who could very well be a part of the Senior National team in the future. Your donations really do help towards them attaining their goals, especially at this level, when skaters have so few funding options. Go Jon! - and Good Luck this season.

Oh, darn ~ I've been a bad girlie... just as you said, Mtnme, I've been engrossed in my travels and remiss in TRF donations! Jon, look for something in the mail from me very soon! You're very special to me in a way you probably aren't even aware of, and I appreciate you and your family more than you know!
