I went and did my "civic duty" and voted. So count me in as "co-operative". And you guys can all have the Canadians. Not putting any of you down for being into them at all, to each their own, but aside from Apolo, I think the other EXTREMELY HOT short-tracker is Italy's Fabio Carta! Dear God in heaven, that man is sex-on-ice!  I'm with you on that, Amy. He is hot. And now on to a general response. WOW!!! A lot happened between the time I went bed last night and signed back in this afternoon. I entered this thread, read the first post, and thought "Oh Sh!t...now it's really gonna' hit the fan.  But I kept reading and before I got to the end everyone hand hugged and made up and I was so very happy. ;D  I agree that us "Oldies" probably do need I our own place where the younger people will not be offended by our truly innocent banter. I have hesitated to join in on some of it knowing that there were teenagers on the board and not wanting to do or say something inappropriate.  And Jay, you have every right in the world to be uncomfortable. Thank you for speaking up. Where in Malaysia are you? I absolutely love the way the name Kuala Lumpur feels in my mouth as it rolls of my tongue. It is a fantastically beautiful name. What does it mean?  Oh yeah, I voted 1st thing when I logged in.  |

Laura is talking about a friend of mine who has cooked Apolo some meals when she has visited Colorado Springs the last two years. She asked him what kind of food he wanted her to fix and he said soul food. |

Bella. I'm so, so sorry. I just wanted to come clean. I just said what I said here. How I frustrated and how I thought you changed. I wish I had done this in the first place. I'm really, really sorry and hope you can forgive me because I love almost every contribution to this board (guest, I stand by my "YOU SUCK" statement) and yours is most valued. Gah. I shouldn't post when I'm like this. Should I care?   That's an interesting question. Guest, I like you, really I do. Whatever your involvement with Apolo is, you seem to support ST, which is a something he loves, and that makes you OK in my book. Now, I know Ruffian said you suck and you were trying to defend yourself, but I am gonna ask you for right now, as a favor to me, to take it in stride like the mature, responsible adult I envision you to be and try not to stir up any trouble with any of the members of this board, even if they start it. Now, I know that is not very fair to you, but I think you can handle it for the time being. Also, I'm extending you a personal invitation to formally join this board. I think your continued posting as a Guest has a condescending effect that creates a lot of unnecessary friction. I think you would find that if you joined, a lot of that friction would diffuse rather than escalate and you'd get along better with everyone and everyone would get a long better with you. Why should you care about any of this? No reason except I'm asking you to. |
