Alas, I'm nearing the end to my long Apolo fan fic. I always miss my characters when I end a story. I hope you enjoyed it. And I hope I do Majory and Apolo justice with the ending.

It was seven o'clock in the morning. The sun shone brightly in the new day. Birds chirped, butterflies fluttered, a dog barked. Through an open window, the sound of traffic could be heard. She was nervous, and it wasn't even her wedding! Majory turned to her mom. They didn't always get along. Many times Majory thought Morgana had resented her. She didn't have kids, while her best friend did. And when that friend died, she took in Majory, then known as Kindred Spirit. Morgana's life was in shambles, she lost Damen. Her closest friend was gone, and she was in charge of a little girl.
That little girl had streaks of blond in brown hair, tanned skin, dark eye brows, and deep understanding eyes. Morgana though herself a horrible person. But when Majory felt herself trust her, she got scared. Kids were good judges of character, she just didn't want to see that in herself. So she shoved her away. Oh, not at first, they were both sad, and lost. But over the years the gap grew. Morgana regretted it. And when she found out that Morning Dew had passed, she relived her past. And felt that she couldn't help Majory, when she hadn't even healed herself.
Then along came Apolo. He swept up her daughter, and gave her love, understanding. He gave her confidence, he gave her, her daughter back. And now she and Damen were getting married. She was a mother to be of his children, their children. And Majory, sweet, loving Majory, was a sister of three brothers. And if she didn't know any better, she'd think Kindred Spirit, her beautiful Native daughter, was about to be a mother herself. Oh, that would make her a grandparent. Morgana turned her head, trying not to cry. To keep it together. Then she changed her mind, grabbed her daughter, and held her close.
Majory stood still. In shock. Morgana burst into tears. "Mom, what is it? Is the wedding getting to you, you and Damen okay, what is going on?"
"It's just that I keep thinking of your birth mom. What a special lady she was, I couldn't be that good, or wonderful, or, OW!" She bit out, shocked, Majory just pinched her.
"I wasn't always easy, Mom. And you know that I call you that because you were my mom. I'll always love my birth mom, I called her Mommy, I still do that." She laughed at the memory. And her mother's sweet voice answering. "Yes, dear."
Morgana stood there. Arms over her breasts. Heart thumping out loud. In her ears. "I scared the crap out of you, and you know it. This wild little girl." Majory teased. "You were great, you did the best you could do. We are better for it, and to tell you the truth, if that path of life didn't happen, we wouldn't be standing here today. It's your wedding, to your sweetheart. Let's celebrate. Get you ready, hitched, and on your honeymoon." Majory wiggled her eye brows. Morgana laughed out loud. It worked. This all would work out...

I'm going to have Morgana's wedding first. I want her and Majory to make up. Then the big wedding will happen, promise. I hope you like this.
