In the course of doing research for The Rocker Fund, I spoke to Alex's dad, AL, who is the president of the Bay City, MI Speedskating Club. The last year has been really rough for Alex, which as the article states, he has been dealing with injuries that affects his ability to train and skate, (and that in turn also affects his funding.)
We're all hoping Alex can get through this and has a chance to compete at his very best .
