I am NOT a prude, but Cloris was way too profane for a family show... that's over the top and I feel so bad for Corky. Glad you said it, Mari, I was thinking the same thing. When she called Carrie Anne the "B" word, that did it for me...too over the top. I don't mind if she stays a few weeks for the entertainment value and the message that older people can do physical things and have fun. She bring that to the show, while others are as bad and have no flair. But she has stepped over the lines. I hope the producers do talk to her, but then she'll probably make a joke about how she's been gagged. Corky seems to be a real gentleman and I'm glad he got paired with her, if not only for his age. She would have looked ridiculous with Derek. For all of Kim K's reality-show personality, I'm surprised she can't move and it intimidated. Do I believe her plea as to really being a shy and reserved person? not one bit.... Cody grates on me for some reason. Does Maks seem reserved this year? He hasn't said much and doesn't smile all that much. When I saw Kristy and Helio announced, for a fleeting moment I thought, Hey! maybe Apolo will show up tomorrow night, since his team is out of town....then just as quickly thought "He can't afford to miss 1 day's training at this point, even WITH the team and coaches gone." Again, I must admit, by the end of the 2 hours there seemed to be less and less energy with the show. Glad it will get paired down to 1.5 and then 1 hours later.

Aaosmts19, to everything you just said... ditto
All I can add is that I'm not liking the format. If I had to train for a dance I was never going to get to do, would never be scored on, and would have no impact on keeping me on the show, I would be seriously miffed. That sucks not only for the eliminated couple, but also for the saved couple who has to follow them. All the energy is drained from the room after an elimination and they have to go out there and dance. This early it's no biggie, but later when the couple that is leaving has had time to endear themselves to the crowd, that's going to be rough. I hope they don't plan on doing this all the way through.
I didn't care for the guys vs girls format either. Season 4 was the only one that made sense. A ballroom and latin dance from each couple before any decisions were made.

Okay...enough is enough of Cloris that is! I was laughing along with everyone else but come on! You're monopolizing the whole show and making people uncomfortable at times because they don't know what to do or say! It just is getting old. Does she really have to take it this far? JMHO Rocco was really fun to watch ;D Was it just me or did it seem to drag on forever last night?

We were there at DWTS last night! No, we didn't go as VIP guests this time but I was on a wait-list for tickets and I was notified last Thursday, Sept. 18, that I was eligible for tickets... for any of the 3-night season-opener shows. I asked for 3 tickets for the 'Tuesday' show (last night) and was promptly notified (email) that I got the tickets. But... these are 'first-come-first-served tickets so we were cautioned to line up early. Being the season-opener, most of the seats were given to the Stars' family, their friends, their agents, etc. ... nevertheless, we got there early and were assured of seats... we were ticket #s 14-15-16. Not being VIP this time, we were not allowed to take any cameras in... they did a very thorough bag-search! I'm writing this from a our friend's home/computer, so I'll comment more after we get home tomorrow night and I'll give a recap of the show then.

I totally agree with you all who've said Cloris is too much...I was laughing at first Mon night, but then she was calling the judges names (which were sensored), and I thought, "okay, she's funny, but she needs to learn to shut it--less is more. " Yeah, she really takes it too far at times. Last night she really got on my nerves with the whole "b" thing. JMHO, too.
YAY Lily! Sounds like you had a great time!!! =) Can't wait for more comments on your experience....

I think they must have been scrambling for the 'censor' button when they heard that! Hmm...you are in SLC if I remember correctly and was it live? Like 6 or 7 pm? Yeah LILY! Gosh it's great to have moles in high places!

Me too #1 Fan. A true travesty. If that happens I would not blame Karina for telling DWTS to kiss-off--to put it politely. All I can say is VOTE VOTE VOTE and Rocco & Karina need to get out there and promote themselves. Surely there are some wine-tastings or other evens going on in L.A. they could attend.
HEY RACHEL RAY--come on GF--get Rocco on your show. What a blast that would be!

Julianne Hough has two new men in her life. The dancer-singer will soon be shimmying with a new celebrity partner on Dancing with the Stars – and she's stepping out with country crooner Chuck Wicks. With her hectic life, Hough told PEOPLE, "It's very difficult to date – I just got kind of lucky!" Indeed, she got to know Wicks this summer when the two joined Brad Paisley on tour. "He's just a great guy! He's awesome and really, really talented," Hough says of the "Stealing Cinderella" singer. "I'm having a great time getting to know him." Hough, 20, whose debut country album, Julianne Hough, hit No. 1 on the country charts when it was released in May, says she and Wicks, 29, have been work-out buddies on the road. "When we play amphitheaters, we'll run up and down the stairs," she says. "And all of us – all the bands – bought bikes and we go mountain biking and we'll go to amusements parks and things like that." Wicks broke up with his long-term girlfriend earlier this year, before the start of the Paisley tour, and Hough ended her engagement to former dancer Zach Wilson last year. With the start of DWTS – Hough went to L.A. Tuesday to meet her new partner – she had to bid goodbye to Wicks, who will remain on tour. But she's confident they can survive the distance. Says Hough: "That's what's cool about being with an independent person." ;D
