I was on vacation when Randy Pausch passed away. When I came back and heard that he had died, I cried. www.cmu.edu/homepage/beyond/2008/summer/an-enduring-legacy.shtml I don't have his book yet, but plan to read it. I did watch his lecture several times and also saw him on Oprah. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSoI love how he always kept his humor, as well as his hope, in the face of such adversity. And that he wrote his "Last Lecture" for his three small children, and only cared about "the first three copies" of his book. My heart aches for his three children and widow. Thank you, Randy, for being such an inspiration. You will truly be missed. "If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you."

Angelina, I agree.....he is what I call "an old soul". I'm getting ready to go on vacation in a few weeks and will be sure to take his book with me. Last week Diane Sawyer did a big piece on him ....was it 20/20? You might be able to find it by checking out the ABC website. I love his comment "it took me until I was 39 to marry, because it took me that long to realize that there was someone more important than myself." ...and.... "you cannot change the cards you are dealt, just how you play the game".... In the spring he gave the charge to the graduates at Carnegie Mellon, where he taught: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcYv5x6gZTARIP and thank you for your wisdom.
